We visited Sushi Densha while on travel to Frederick for a weekend sports tournament. In all truth, we did not visit during the height of lunch or dinner rush, so seating was immediate, and the restaurant was not filled to capacity. That said, we had some questions about the menu and our server was very helpful, very descriptive, and very interested in our opinions. My wife ordered the Naruto Roll with salmon, tuna, yellowtail, crab, and avocado, wrapped in cucumber with ponzu sauce on the side. She said it was delicious. I ordered Tonkutsu Ramen with Cha Shu (pork based broth). It was delicious as well. We really enjoyed the server's attention, time, and explanation as well as the sushi chef's care in preparing wonderful sushi. All in all, an excellent meal. We strongly recommend Sushi Densha.

We had our normal Japanese restaurant order of tempura shrimp and vegetables, tuna sashimi, tuna rolls and spicy tuna rolls. Everything we ordered was great, even the icy cold draft Yuengling beer. The tempura batter was hot, light and crunchy and included onion, sweet potato, zucchini and broccoli. My husband enjoyed the spicy tuna rolls although I thought they were a bit too creamy. Very tasty maguro and prompt service made this a great meal. We are traveling, but if we lived here, we would be back.

When we pulled up to this restaurant, I was very underwhelmed. I was told that it used to be a "biker bar." (I'm not sure if that is true). It's not elegant, to say the least. It was Christmas eve and the restaurant was busy and very lively with families and couples. The adjoining bar looked busy, too. The menu is eclectic, to say the least. There are several pages of diner type entrees and one page of Thai dishes. We started with 2 dozen raw oysters; awesome. Then, we had some Thai appetizers and each of us had a different main dish. Everyone loved their food. Service was very accommodating and friendly. I can't wait to visit my sister again for a return to this hot spot.

Had visiting family who love Sushi, so we went to Lazy Fish for lunch. Usually we would order one of the Sushi combo offerings, but this time just picked from the list of Nigiri and Sushi items. It was excellent as always.

Relatively new
Came in early evening on a Saturday in December. Early enough that it was still reasonably quiet. Seated and served very quickly. We ordered tempura, nigiri and rolls. The entrees came with miso and salad. The miso had little flavor but had a healthy portion of seaweed. The salad had been premade and left in the refrigerator until needed the dressing had settled and water was pooling in the bottom of the bowl. The tempura was delivered hot and fresh (always critical as for me tempura is like french fries and must be eaten hot). Unfortunately, the batter was again bland and too heavy with a very light dipping sauce. The rolls were good portion size, but the quality of the spicy tuna was low - not much spice, too much breading and an erratic coating of rice on the outside of the roll. The salmon roll was also not well put together, but the salmon itself felt clean and fresh. The same was true for the nigiri - nearly every piece of fish had nice flavor and felt clean and fresh. Perhaps because of this, there was no wasabi added to any of the nigiri. The rice was again rather bland, but was put together well enable the nigiri to be eaten with either fingers or chopsticks.Wasabi and pickled ginger were again not the right flavor - the ginger was actually a little sweet - almost candied instead of pickled.Service was good and attentive throughout the meal.Based on other reviews, perhaps I just visited on a bad night. Also, I do have to remind myself, I am talking about sushi in a small town in Maryland not near the coast. In any case, I do not expect to return to find out.

We just happened upon Kittiwat Thai Kitchen and we're so glad we did! The food was delicious. Ordered a couple of apps and a main meal to share with my sister. Everything was very tasty. It was quite busy, so service was a little lacking; but no big deal.

This is the place for excellent Chinese food. A few of my family's favorites are their General Tso's Chicken, pork lomein and excellent pork fried rice, and their white rice is always good too. Our order is always ready for pick up in about 20 minutes and it's always delicious. Although you can dine in, the table service is nothing fancy and they always seem to be a little under staffed for a full dining room. In the many years we have been picking up our meals here, we've eaten inside once and I've never seen more than 2 tables being served at any given time. I would definitely suggest trying everything on the menu at least once. You will be glad you did! And don't forget to see what your fortune cookie says after your meal!

First time at this restaurant and we had an overall good experience Definitely a full menu and lots of good Thai dishes to choose fromI had a chicken stir fry dish with garlic: kinda plain and really uncertain of the quality of chicken as the taste was a little off Service was ok although the server was a bit tentative about engaging us in regard to the menu, drinks, specials, etc

We loved our lunch and the waiter was very knowledgable, efficient and friendly. My stirfry with a shrimp skewer was fresh and tasty and very reasonably priced at $12.50. My husband had a crispy chicken sandwich that was handbreaded and on freshly made bread. We will be back!

Located in an unassuming strip mall in the tiny town of New Market, MD, the Asian Bistro is a wonderful surprise! My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a weekday. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. I ordered the basil shrimp with mixed vegetables and my husband ordered basil beef with mixed vegetables. A wonderful bowl of yummy miso soup came out first followed by our entrees. Each dish was delicious and generous. My husband also enjoyed his warm sake. Our service was excellent. Highly recommend!
