What a great find! We stumbled upon this place while walking through Harrisburg and are so lucky we did. The staff was incredibly nice and guided us through the menu since it was our first visit. Amazing, fresh food and unique flavors. Great options for vegetarians and vegans.

Passing through the area and stopped for a quick bite. I was disappointed when we walked in by the atmosphere, which looked like a step above a take out Chinese place. Since we just needed a quick meal, we stayed and were glad we did! The service was excellent and all the food was perfect. I had an avocado salad and the curry with rice and chicken. It tasted more like an Indian dish than Japanese and it was absolutely delicious. It was served fresh and hot. Even the green tea was a nice strong, hot tea. And they gave us a very small cup of a sweet tea after the meal which was also excellent. My husband had a sushi roll which he also said was fabulous. (note: they do not serve raw sushi at this place.) This place gives new meaning to don't judge a book by its cover!

I nominate this as the most-overrated restaurant on the West Shore of metro-Harrisburg. Not that it's bad, disappointing or over-priced - it is perfectly acceptable - but many of the positive reviews are over the top. Translate: This is a middle-of-the-road, pleasant, average and unremarkable Chinese dining establishment. Now, if you have never found a better Chinese restaurant - as some of the reviews claimed - the state of Chinese food must have fallen in many establishments since I last visited one five years ago. Sorry if I sound elitist, but please don't drive out of your way to eat here. If you are local, in a rush and on a tight budget, head on over. If you are looking for something memorable or for a special occasion meal, this ain't the place. If you go for quantity over quality, then bump my review up by a star.

I have been here several times. I went there recently (early Sept 2017) and this place has been renovated recently. The food is still the same, pretty good. It is located inside Asia Mall. I would recommend this place. I know a lot of people in the area also like Bangkok 56 which is just a few miles away from here, but that place always runs out of parking place, while it is much easier to get parking at Kanlaya. I personally think the food quality is about the same too. Definitely would recommend this place if you are hungry for Thai food in the Harrisburg, PA area.

A quaint family run business, hidden in the back corner of the state street plaza in lemoyne. We strive to bring authentic korean food with the soul of Seoul; we also offer a creative fusion menu, korean food with a twist â burritos, burgers, tacos, and q
A small but clean and delicious local restaurant. This was my second visit and really enjoyed the food. I had the chicken tacos and they were fresh, tasty not spicy. The tacos were not regular corn tortillas they were grilled and delicious mix of ingredients. I bought the chicken dumplings for dinner since I had to work late and they heated up well and again filling was tender and homemade.

My husband and I were really looking forward to eating here. we encourage and enjoy local non chain restaurant and were excited after reviewing all the wonderful reviews. Our experience here was below average perhaps they were having an off day regardless will not be returning. We drove 25 mins to get here and were seated at 6: 32 Pm. Our orders were taken right away. Till now attentive staff and reasonable ambience. It went all down hill from there this was sunday night and the place was packed. There was only one hostess catering to approx. 18 - 20 ppl. There was only one chef with another person who appeared to be a bus boy mostly. It took 30 mins for our waters and 45 mins for the bread to show up at our table. It took 1 hour 30 mins for the food to show up. By this time we were close to walking out and eating at a near by Taco bell. There problem I think were the numerous take out / uber eat orders that were coming in. The hostess was apologetic and offered to take off the 2.45 cents below average garlic bread off out tab. We were ravenous so once the food showed up we were ready to forgive and forget. The unfortunate thing is even though we could have chewed on our arm by this time and found it delicious the food was anything but. My husbands alfredo pasta was runny and al dante to the point of being edible. MY crab / shrimp vodka sauce pasta was delicious but soggy. Sometime the wait is worth it this time it really wasn't. Below average and not memorable. DO not visit on a busy weekend night perhaps for lunch would be acceptable.

Great food and service! They remake their curry blends every day. Fresh ingredients prepared from scratch. Donât let the exteriorâs run down look turn you away. Yes, the interior shows its share of use, but this dining experience is all about the food. NOTE: BRING YOU OWN BOOZE!

My date and I went here for dessert and drinks. I ordered the special of the night~ brownie creme brulee and a millionaire's coffee. My date ordered their signature mojito. The creme brulee was orgasmic, I kid you not. With each bite I literally was like oh my goodness this is so good, oohhh ahhhh mmmmmm. Seriously! The drinks were fabulous as well and I do not even like mojitos normally, but this one was out of this world. My only complaint was the waiter we had. Normally, the wait staff is above par and simply exceptional. Ours, was attentive, but to the extreme. He could clearly see we were on a date, we told him as much, and we asked to be given some time alone and we would let him know if he was needed. He had other tables, so I do not understand what his hurry was as we felt like he was pushing constantly for us to leave (we were quiet and keeping to ourselves). His other tables were no where close to being done, so even if we left, he still had at least two other tables still there, which meant he could not leave anyways. He was just kind of annoying and definitely took away from our date being peaceful and romantic. The owner had died very recently, so maybe that was the issue as this has never happened before. Regardless, the food and drinks are fantastic and I would highly recommend both.Hello! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your drinks and your meal! Our creme brulee is made in-house daily, and our signature drinks are all hand-crafted by our highly skilled bartenders. We will most certainly share your commendations with them!We are sorry to hear that your server came across as overbearing -- our goal at Café Fresco Center City is to exceed guest expectations in food and in service, but it is never our intention to make a guest feel rushed or annoyed. We sincerely apologize for that. We certainly hope you will consider us on your next date night, and when you call to make your reservation, please let us know you would like an intimate, more private table. We can take extra steps in choosing your table and overseeing your service to ensure we deliver the experience you expect when out for a romantic evening. While we miss Nick dearly, we did want to mention that he sold Café Fresco Center City to us almost five years ago. We were extremely thankful for the opportunity to be mentored by one of the best in the business, and we strive everyday to carry on the legacy he created. Like him, we sincerely appreciate your ongoing support and your five star review! We hope to see you again soon!

Yak N Yeti is a family owned restaurant established only because we have great love and passion for food. The restaurant is the ONLY one that serves exotic Bhutanese and Nepalese cuisines from the Himalayas.
First time visit, and after hearing many positive comments about this place, we were able to experience what we heard first hand. The food quality is excellent, but service was really exceptional from our server Sabrina, and one of the female owners. Very knowledgeable about the menu, and helped us navigate Vegan Choices which we were very happy about. The only hiccup with the Vegan protocol was the entree came to the table with a side of cabbage slaw which had dairy in the recipe. However, the server was prepared to bring a new dish, but we just removed the item from our plate. We visited on a Tuesday night, and they weren't too busy, but the owner said on Friday and Saturday's there is a wait for tables, so visit early!
