I walked into this little gem in Nevada City and thought to myself, wow, authentic Hawaiian food right here...right now. We ordered a few poke bowls (1 with beef, one with pork...which is to die for.... and 1 rainbow vegetarian bowl). To say the least they were incredible. Lots of fresh veggies, rice and delicious meat. Everything was great right down to the mango chutney and the "special sauce". Do yourself a favor, stop in and get yourself a poke bowl or anything else on the menu. This place is AWESOME! I will go back for sure, maybe try the fish the next time. Oh, one more thing, be sure to go sit out back and enjoy your meal. They have an awesome seating area just behind the serving area that adds an ambiance factor that is truly wonderful.

Visited "Sushi at Nourish" for the first time last night, with two friends from out of town. The miso soup and seaweed salad were both excellent and very flavorful. We shared a traditional unagi roll but the star was the kooky "Rebel" roll. They have a long list of crazy-sounding rolls, and it was hard to just pick one...but the Rebel was great. Tuna, avocado, seaweed crunchies, tempura shrimp bits...it all combined into a lovely 8-piece bonanza. I love traditional simple sushi, but that roll was memorable and I would happily eat here again - especially with guests! The space itself is simple but comfortable - the service was excellent and well-paced. Very happy to have this restaurant so close by!

I live around the corner and Fred's is one of my favorite places for a quick inexpensive meal when I am to busy to cook, or want to grab something with friends and co-workers, and the girl friend/partner. Fred and his family are always cheerful and Fred and I have discussions on how to change the universe for the better from our arm chairs! The place is comfy, and shares services with the Mine Shaft bar next door, so you can order fine Asian pacific based drinks, or order your favorite version of whatever delivered to your table. Nice selection of spicy Sichuan, as well as other regulars including some vegetarian selections. I love Fred's!

Sushi Q offers sushi that is better than anything I've had in San Francisco. The wait staff is friendly and recommends great things off the menu, Toki (chef/owner) is always preparing your sushi, and the food is always fresh. This is a great hang out for family and friends, and we've also done a date night there. Our favorite rolls are the Santa Cruz and Fox as well as any of the fresh sushimi that day. Even the ice creams (toasted black sesame and green tea) is home-made and creamy, so save room.

The brick terrace is a lovely and serene spot to enjoy a fine Thai meal. Our server was helpful and friendly. Numerous choices are available with choice of veggies, chicken, pork, fish, mock duck or mock chicken. Server was great in making recommendations and our food was delicious.
