Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Nairn. Thanks to its unique micro-climate, Nairn gets more hours of sunshine and less rainfall than other towns just a few miles away. Thankfully, this combination of abundant sun and no rain provide the perfect weather conditions for golf, as Nairn boasts two 18-hole championship courses. (And if you have time on your hands, there are 30 more courses within 60 miles.) Don't miss the town's jazz and film festivals, the latter of which was started by Nairn resident and actress Tilda Swinton (you'd know her if you saw her).

Good food, good service at a reasonable price (4 people 2 courses £100). The tikka julpuri was particularly good. The tandoori chicken tikka portion was quite big.

Monday evening the restaurant was quiet so we got a table by the window. Good selection of dishes. All of our choices, which included lamb shatkora and prawn puri, were excellent and served piping hot. The vegetable pakora was very good indeed. Two rice and two naan between four of us was the right amount. Efficient, friendly service. If I lived near Nairn I would eat here often.

We enjoyed another cracking curry from the Royal Bengal during another trip home and once again everyone said it was the best curry they had had. The portions were huge as always and the food was beautiful once again.First class and we will be back again soon!

Eat in sit down on the high street think it is the only one in Nairn?
We actually thought we were going to Mr. Tan's. When we got there we realized that Mr. Tan's is just for takeout. This restaurant shares its kitchen and sells the same food (I think)-just more expensive. The food was OK-nothing special but nothing wrong with it either. The service was very good.
