This is a great family restaurant where everybody gets his preference at a good quality and democratic price. Located in a nice kinda hidden (for tourists) square, de dageraadplaats. Staff is very friendly and helpful, place is a bit too crowded but kitchen seems te manage this quit well.Bottom line :good food for a good price.

If you've never eaten Thai food before and you want to try authentic Thai dishes you will enjoy the food served by Chef Khem. He is Thai, has worked in several major restaurants and various places around the world and what he cooks, he cooks really well.Unfortunately he has decided no longer to hire any staff so the service in the restaurant suffers, as well as the selection of food. Thai food has a lot to offer, ranging between easy and complex dishes. What chef Khem served us was good and tasty but was all from the easy spectrum of the Thai kitchen; he just doesn't have the time / patience / staff to tackle more complex food.Since we live in Thailand, it was a pleasure for us to eat authentic Thai food in Mortsel, but we were disappointed in that there were several dishes he simply didn't feel like preparing. The place itself is wonderfully decorated, and feels very local, home styled which adds a lot of atmosphere. It isn't fine dining, and it can fill up pretty quickly and as such a bit noisy but all in all you'll still have a wonderful evening; just don't expect fine dining and don't expect romance. Dinner and drinks for 6 adults and 2 children came to about 150 EUR which was good value for money.

This place is worth a visit: nive cosy atmosphere, not too big, fantastic food from all over Asia, amazing staff, and certainly not expensive considering the flavours you will taste. Top!

I had the lunch menu, which was very filling 3 courses), excellent food and also really nice service (the waitress, Shana, took her time to explain and recommend and checked frequently how everything was). The restaurant is also centrally located (next to St. Carolus Bartolomeuskerk, 5 minutes from the Grote Markt). I highly recommend it!

Excellent food, very friendly server (his brother and sister were the cooks in the kitchen, his family owns the place), large portions, great value for what you get, lively, cozy atmosphere! I would highly recommend this place. I would also go back in a heartbeat. My parents and I are huge Chinese food fans and loved every bite! SMALL PLACE - HIGHLY RECOMMEND RESERVING IN ADVANCE! Looks like nothing from the outside, but is wonderful and worth it once you go in. High quality and very well prepared.

Cuichine is een hedendaags Aziatisch restaurant gelegen op de Zurenborgwijk te Antwerpen. Cuichine is a contemporary Asian restaurant in Antwerp.
Went to explore Cuichine on a week evening, since I was in Antwerp region for work, and wanted to avoid rush hour and usual traffic jams. So I was very early and also was a good time to return home only 1,5 hour after arrival.I choose this restaurant since I wanted to enjoy Asian food, but the modern kind, and let myself surprise with the carte blanche menu (40 euro).Well, that was money well spent, I enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food.Being alone, it was good to sit in front of the kitchen and see what was going on in there. To my delight, I received the three specialities of the day:As a starter asparagus with shrimp in oyster sauce, followed by bresse chicken with ginger tapenade and sauteed paksoy.Very tasty. As a dessert I received the sesame croustillants which had a chocolat filling, with ice cream and red fruits...... Yummy!Since I still had to drive, couldnt enjoy any wines.Nice discovery, friendly open atmosphere and original Asian food.... Would like to come back.

Private Home Dining, Catering, Event and business meeting.
We can not get a reservation. The owner is not taking phone calls and his response time on emails is several days or even no replay. We know that the waiting time is long on this restaurant and we are willing to wait. Bud we are sick of the slow replays of the owner. Bad attitude!Dear bjornn834 and Khun Look pla,We are sorry to hear you had such a negative experience with us only you could not get reservation.I think you have no right to give us any vote or reviews. We have right to take some holiday and our guests are more important than pick up any phones during service. If you looking for a fast diner...we don't think we are the right place.Warm regards.Sombat
