Food was great...got the lotus root (tasted like figs) and jambalaya (shrimp, crabmeat, cucumber, cabbage) and both were different and special. Dinner was the 1/2 Peking duck (served like tacos in pancakes), shrimp (menu had two peppers hot but not so) and Supreme Scallops (very tasty). Finished with cheese cake and tiramisu (not Chinese but they needed something for a dessert menu).Atmosphere was overdone and likely costly.Overall good. Bring your wallet and expect to pay $60 each with 15 percent tip.

With crowds on Mother's Day, we opted for take out. The green curry seafood medley was "to-die-for"! We also ordered Singapore Noodles & Cashew Chicken. Both of those dishes were excellent. The portions were more than ample. We travel to this area several times a year. We keep a running list of our favorite eateries. The TN is now at the top of our list!If you like Thai cuisine, add TN's to your bucket list. You won't be disappointed!

A double fronted shopfront with grubby windows ..not promising, right?Inside, little better. The mainstay is the national noodle soup dish PHO (pronounced "furr") & like all the others in The Triangle --they too ONLY have beef broth. So adding seafood/ chicken etc just doesn't make any sense..We chose two classics..rare beef & beef mixed with tripe, etc.The house operation was mean with the standard accompaniments : bean sprouts, chilies, Vietnamese mint & fresh lime..really only enough for one diner ..but the broth was "ok" (little depth) tasting too sweet from MSG & a tad 'oily'.A big serving though,so if you're really hungry--its good enough!Personally, having been to another nearby (& far better presented) I would drive on a little further for MY next Pho Fix!

Tried this Thai restaurant for lunch. Overall I was somewhat disappointed with the selection of food offered at lunch. The menu pretty much did not have hardly anything on the menu that I found in numerous other Thai restaurants in the area. They give you a good portion I had chicken with a peanut sauce over Broccoli and Spinach. It was pretty good but not what I was looking for.Service was very attentive there were few diners there. The atmosphere was very mixed almost elegant and romantic on left side of the restaurant with a mural and neat lighting. The side I was on where the booths are was very plain with a plain wall that showed the restaurant's age. Bathroom was clean but showed it's age needs to be remodeled. So the menu selection just not to my taste. Because of the limited menu options I will not be back.

Dharani is a fine dining restaurant. We heard a lot of good reviews of Dharani and went to check their dinner menu. The ambiance was good...the service was excellent..and was told how soon our order would come by. We were adventurous and ordered the restaurant special "Chicken Sukha". It was undeniably the best ethnic chicken dish I have ever had ...scintillating on our taste buds. The naan was good, chicken tikka masala was alright...the special did not disappoint us. The restaurant was almost full for dinner service mid-week on a rainy day - that in itself tells a lot of the place! Will come back again the next time we are in North Carolina!

My niece was won over by the cauliflower appetizer. She said cauliflower had no flavor. The Nazara cauliflower was packed with flavor and served with a delicious sauce. The pineapple appetizer was not quite my cup of tea but it was well prepared. We ordered three entrees. Two would have been plenty for the 3 of us. The goat curry came with a load of bones just like it does in India, Our service was attentive and helpful in answering questions. My wife and I enjoyed the leftovers for lunch today.

Tower Restaurant is one of the few vegetarian only restaurants in the Research Triangle. They specialise in South Indian food (and also serve North Indian food) and are famous for their unlimited buffets. The food is really good. We went for the buffet and there were a lot of items - idlis, dosas (which they serve to your table), vadas, rasam, sambar, lemon rice, Hyderabadi biryani, beetroot halwa, curd rice, ... The halwa, biryani and rasam were awesome! Some of the food may have been made using canned veggies and they run out of some items during the service and replace it with other items. The buffets on weekends have more sweets and items. The best thing about the restaurant is the price. For the price, it is an awesome unlimited meal. The owner is nice and friendly. but the staff isn't the most welcoming. There is ample parking.

I've been a few times so have had all of their vegetarian dishes. They aren't good. However, friends who were with me raved about their meat dishes, and tables around us were filled with people passing plates around insisting their friends and family try what they're having. So, vegetarians: prepare to be underwhelmed.Everyone else: prepare to be wowed!

My wife and I are soup lovers and have tried pho in many cities. On this occasion, it was a vegetarian pho for take out. This busy little bee hive seats around 60, and every seat was taken on a weekday night.. a good sign. Decor was understated which seems to be true for most pho restaurants. Wai staff was moving quickly, and service seened to flow well. The proof of the pudding... Pho restaurants are best judged by their broth, and they certainly passed the test.

A very unique and interesting menu for our area... lots of strange seafood parts, e.g., parts of frog, or jellyfish. Chicken or Shrimp nuggets in a coffee sauce. Etc. We had the Shrimp/Coffee, The Duck, the Tom Yum and Wonton soups (VERY GOOD soups!), and fried pork dumplings. Good portions, reasonable prices and good to excellent tastes. One warning, some of the food is labeled as being 'hot' on the menu but the spices were VERY hot-- if you don't like that, ask for it to not be fully 'hot'! But the menu of Thai and Chinese food is amazingly interesting and varied. We'll be back
