Located down an alley off of Grand Rue. Kitchy chinese decor. Service was very good and we enjoyed the food as well. The duck fried rice was delicious! Not just bits of duck, but bigger slices.

The food from the Jade de Chine is excellent. Not exactly cheap (though nothing in Mons is), but very good quality, very flavoured and a great choice, including vegetarian options. Some of the nicest Chinese food I've ever had, whether in the UK or in Belgium.

We stopped if while shopping. The tea cups and saucers were very unique and the tea itself tasted great, although you had to be careful with the metal cups, as they got a little hot.The main courses were very filling and I thought tasted great. The staff were very polite with mid ranged prices for Europe.

Nice and busy on a Friday night. We had the 4 course set menu which consisted of chicken soup, spring roll, half chicken curry and then ice cream. We all enjoyed all of it. The service was attentive and quick. Would go back if we were here for longer.

Came here in July with my family on a Sunday. The service was good and there was quite a big parking in front. There was an incredible amount of food and there was everything ranging from sushi, noodles, shrimp, and oysters, to peaches with tuna, rice, vegetables to wok, fruit and desserts. We started with some lichi liquor and then went to pile our plates up with good food! I recommend this place to anyone, including families with children and big groups of people.

It's a hole in the wall type of place with just a few tables. No English menu, but they did have a photo album they brought out for us with pictures of some dishes. My wife and I each ordered Pho, one with beef and one with chicken. The soup in both really tasted good. The beef dish however was blessed with a good amount of what seemed like freshly cooked roast beef pieces and it was yummy. The chicken however wasn't so good. There wasn't much meat there and what was there were small pieces (think scrap) of dry chicken breast that were crumbled in the soup. Not good. We also ordered a plate of duck and rice. Don't know the name of the dish. Flavor was good, but it was victim of the microwave and had a hint of that rubbery microwave taste to it. By the way, as we were waiting for our food, you can hear the kitchen noises as food is being prepared. The sound of things going in the microwave and the "ding" of the timer was non-stop.So, if you need a quick fix of Vietnamese fast food, this isn't a bad option.

Restaurant familiale à votre service depuis 4 générations. Service personnalisé sur demande. Tippan, cuisine à la vapeur, végétarien etc...
We went to the restaurant La Grande Muraille last night. My girlfriend invited me. She said it was one of her favorite restaurants. I understood why. First of all, the restaurant is well decorated. Then, the music is really awesome, relaxing: mainly instrumental, from China, obviously. The service is spotless. The manager was very friendly. The waitresses were very polite and diligent. Their French was native, even though they were Chinese. And finally came the food. We had fried noodles with chicken and a Thai chicken curry with rice. A delight! I wouldn't say the Thai food tasted as Thai as in a Thai restaurant, but it was good. And I knew well La Grande Muraille wasn't a Thai restaurant! If you want to have a good time in a Chinese setting with a love one (or love ones) without leaving the centre of Mons, then you should certainly pay a visit to this restaurant. We appreciate your evaluation. As a family business it's important to us to know how our customers feel. We hope to do better for your next visit.Kind regards,Allan
