We are one of the best Indian restaurants in Lymington offering the finest of Indian cuisine. We have long been serving our customers on the bustling high street of Lymington since 1987. We opened our restaurant with a genuine passion for bringing the fin
Poor service, bad food, rude owner, avoid this at all costs!!!! Our food was nearly two hours late prioritising takeaways (14 in total). Manager was rude including insults towards a friend of mines proffesion! Iâm embarrassed as to what this place has become, as a local born and bred this infuriates me!!! I will never go again!!

This takeaway Indian food establishment is better than Any of the Indian restaurants within a 6 mile radius. Food is always freshly cooked in front of you.The quality has never altered in all the years I've been going there. Consistentlyfirst class year after year. Pity some of the other restaurants in the area can't take a leaf out of their book.

Tongue tingling and a real treat for your tastebuds. Excellent service and an authentic Thai cuisine. First visited in May 2018 and again in 2019 after moving to the area, the Similan is a real asset to Highcliffe and, if you enjoy Thai food, add it to your must-visit list.

Came here mid-week for a meal. Staff were great, very accommodating especially as we had a baby with us.The food was great - we had a selection of Tapas and it made for a different Thai experience. Also has a good selection of cocktails.Hi Deanr85, thank you very much for your glowing 5* review! We are glad you enjoyed your meal here! I'll be sure to pass this onto the Front of House and Kitchen teams as I'm sure they will be made up! We look forward to welcoming you again soon for some more Thai Tapas! Due to a change in personal circumstances, we have for the time being opted for a takeaway if we want an 'indian'. The food as usual is up to their high standard, and the quantity you get could easily be spread over two meals unless you were a horse. It represents excellent value for the what is offered. Although I can eat the full monty, my wife opts for the starters as this is about as much as she can eat. Even so, the content is of a good size and more than adequate for the 'smaller apetite', you still won't leave the table feeling hungry. So far they have not taken up my suggestion.Downside, Best to order your takeaway meal well in advance as waiting times for the spur of the moment visits can be quite long, particularly if you go in early. (you have to wait for the ovens to come up to temperature) They use plastic containers which are semi opaque which makes identifying the dish quite hard. Like all indian food, many of the dishes are similar visually and there have been many times where we have engaged in 'food shuffling' before the dish that was ordered by each individual could be identified. I have suggested that the number of each dish that a person has chosen from the menu be put on the lid of the container. It would make identification so much easier.

Authentic Thai Cuisine. Modern, contemporary décor. Family friendly. Excellent service. Fine wines, lager, spirits and soft drinks. Tapas set menus at lunch. Evening a la carte and set menus.
This is now our favourite Thai. Came here on the 27th August on a Tuesday night. The food was 1st class we had a huge selection of dishes, prawn toast, Tom yum soup, Thai red duck, beef in oyster sauce, chicken pad Thai & chicken sweet and sour. Every single dish was amazing and so tasty. They also accommodated my requests to make the Tom yum soup extra extra hot and also make the Thai red extra hot! Both where perfect!! The staff were excellent on the night and even though it was a Tuesday evening the restaurant was busy which speaks for itself!! We canât wait to come back and wonât now go to another Thai when this one is just up the road! Please book in advance as it does get busy especially on a Friday and Saturday night.
