We walked by Sugarcane and admired the greenery and lighting outside, which was inviting, so we decided to have some tapas and iced teas. The hostess was somewhat friendly and brought us quickly inside, telling us outdoor seating was not available. When inside, we were ushered to our table and quickly greeted by our server, who was very friendly and accommodating. She helped us to decipher the menu and entree choices. We decided not to have alcoholic beverages and ordered lemonade and an Arnold Palmer, gosh both were very tasty. We thought the prices were a bit excessive for the portion sizes, but decided to have the Squid and Chicken Thigh small plates. Although portions were small, they were extremely flavorful and superbly prepared. Overall, it was a positive experience, just very expensive for what one receives. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your review. We sincerely appreciate all our guests' feedback, both positive and negative. We truly look forward to seeing you again soon!

We ate dinner here on the recommendation of friends. They were not wrong. The ambiance is eclectic. So is the food. It is Vietnamese-Cajun. There were four of us and everyone agreed that the food was delicious. We had roasted cod in coconut cream-lemongrass sauce; vegetable curry; filet mignon and scallops. Every dish had unique flavours and was finished to the last drop. I would recommend this restaurant, but make reservations! My only reservation is that it is loud.

We came here while visiting Bal Harbour Shopping Center, expecting a really expensive place. It turned out to be fairly priced, good also with children and really amazingly tasty. Grilled eggplant and asparagus, best ever edamame, wagyu beef on hot stone and good sushi made our day. Oscar, our waiter, has been super friendly and helpful explaining the menu to us as newcomers. Weâll be back if in the area.

This is not the classic elegant restaurant that you can aspect in Miami, it's a simple place with 10/15 tables, but...Waiters are very nice and kindly personFood, we've eaten mostly sushi, was really, really good, both classic sushi as huramaki ebiten, both the "signature" rolls, where it's possible to try something different.

The Food seemed much better a few years ago, but the last 4-5 times have been bad. The sushi is cut in different directions and has bones in a few pieces. Most of the other dishes tasted bad and we threw out most of the food on the last 2 orders. The delivery guy supposedly had issues and deliveries took hours. Then there was food missing from the last 2 orders which was already paid for. Called manager who promised to credit or give for free on the next order. A month later he could not remember our conversation. Enough said , off our list.I work in South Beach and that location was about the same. We used to order several large orders a week and have not in the last 5 months. Moshi Moshi has been our go to now.

Just got back from having lunch with my wife and son. After we finished eating a good but not more than average sushi we asked for the bill (USD100 without tip). As soon as we paid (not even 5') first the waitress then who I assume is the owner, started putting pressure to make us leave because there were a couple of customers waiting. They first asked for one of the tables (???), so they could accommodate one of the waiting customers but I assume they expected one of us to stand up. We still had our drinks unfinished.Never in my life, I have passed a situation like this. Absolut bad manners and cheap attitude.Just another thing, the food came really quick. So it was already prepared....not made fresh just in time like proper sushi. good luck hope you have a better experience.

As a Trinidadian, I surely know how a Superb Roti, doubles (bara) , pholourie, aloe pie and buss up shot taste like. This is the place for all Trini , west indian food that make your mouth water. Lots of variety of food and drinks. I was surprised when they made the buss up shot right in front of me , fresh and hot. The staff especially MOMS was very very friendly and funny. Lots of Trini snacks also like kurma, fudge, kiss cake, rum cake, channa, chilli bibi and more. I had buss up shot with curry goat with a cold RED SOLO (a trinidadian soda). GREAT FOOD WITH GREAT SERVICE. MUST HAVE

My husband and I dined here after a friend recommended it- we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Definitely make an reservation in advance. The atmosphere is very vibrant and lively. Service was awesome - very friendly and we appreciated that the server helped guide us with menu choices. Everything we ate was delicious: We shared the octopus, pork belly buns, red snapper (which was so, so tasty!), wagu brisket (which we highly recommend!), mushroom side dish and a Japanese sweet potato!!! Everything was prepared perfectly, nice size portions and plate presentation was impressive. Fun cocktail menu and tasty drink choices too. We definitely recommend dining here for a fun night out.

Four of us were there for dinner on a Sat night. It was packed and we waited about 20 minutes. We had VDg Spring Rolls which could be a little less greasy, but they were tasty. The main courses were excellent. Pad Woon Sen veggies, Pad woon sen shrimp, Massaman curry vegs, and fried rice veggies.
