Visited Shalimar Gold for the first time & had a wonderful dining experience with my family. From the moment we walked through the door, the staff greeted us with a warm welcome, the food, atmosphere and service was amazing. I would like to mention the attentiveness of Imran who really made an impact on us. The table staff were all wonderful but Imran was so professional and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Very modern and chic looking Indian restaurant. Staff attentive and helped us with choosing our meals. Food was of a very high standard, most enjoyable. One issue, considering only a few tables were taken it took a long time to eventually receive our main meals. Will give it another try though.

Took our son for a family meal for his 21st birthday. Staff were excellent, extremely attentive and happily catered for for all our requests about table and presentation. The food was excellent and presented to a very high standard, we couldn't have asked for more and the price was very reasonable.

Started with their mixed platter which was absolutely fantastic. Our expectations for our mains were very hight but, to be perfectly honest, we were "let down". Both our dishes were cold - the sliced beef was as tough as shoe leather and the fried noodles were soggy. What a shame.Have to have two starter platters if we go back !

Great foodGreat staffShame the tablemats are all scratched and chipped- doesnât really look good and please replace the table runners too - stained and drab looking.Would suggest lighter colours to brighten the whole look of the tables.Otherwise a very welcoming place to dine.
