This is a south indian restaurant I stumbled across in the Little India district of Melaka. I love south indian vegetarian food and this was one of the best. I spoke with the manager afterwards and he gave me a card as my cousin who lives in singapore is
Walk-able distance to the Stadthuys, Christ Church, River Cruise, Clock Tower,... you are the at the most central location of Melaka in no time. Can't get any better TamilNadu food in the proximity and is worth the money.

a cafe hidden in a crevice of malacca city centre, within walking distance from Jonker Street. it's a little corner with effortlessly soothing vibes for tourists to take a breather from the crowd along Jonker Street, while the owner serves up innovative f
Our visit was okay. Food and coffee were good. Nice interior too. One thing that should be done better is making sure that as a couple we get our coffees together. A 10-15 minute difference in serving meant I had finished mine before my partner's arrived. It wasn't even that it was busy. And then another 10-15 for the food. A bit out of sync. Might be best to specify this when placing order rather than assuming.

We had breakfast there. Good traditional Indian breakfast available such as Dosa, idli, Paal Appam and even Nasi Lemak. Infact the Nasi Lemak was quite good. They serve good instant coffee but I didn't try their normal coffee. May be next time. This place really deserve a next visit. That night I went back to take away some roti chanai which looked really good in the morning but I had no place for it. The roti chanai was good. The wait staff are very friendly. The seem to know their regular customers. They greet them very cheerfully.

Experience dining at a Retro-styled cafe backing the Melaka river in the Heritage Zone. One could choose to dine by the river and watch the cruise boats pass by; or at the indoor fan or air conditioned area. We serve cafe food : 'All Day Breakfast Sets',
We enjoyed sitting by the Melaka river in the evening in the eclectic surrounds of the River View Cafe.To the delight of our children they serve a range of Western food, although I found there local dish selection quite limited.Prices were very reasonable and the food was very nice.

Located near Jonker. Popular with tourist & groups. Simple layout, air conditioned. Service is a hit & miss. Rather pricey. We tried their otak otak, friend chicken, spicy fried rice, kangkung belacan, cincalok omelette, prawn sambal, asam pedas fish, pie tee & chicken lobak. All were average at best. Asam pedas was rather weak, no kick to the gravy. Only highlight would be the lentil crackers as appetizers.Wouldn't recommend unless you are nearby & looking for a meal.

I would say that their naan and tandoori are superb and iâm not exaggerating that their tandoori probably one of the best in Malaysia. It just that it is quite hard to get a table due to numbers of people coming. Their service is very friendly though.

First time in Malaysia touring 5 locations in 2 weeks. First 3 days are in Melaka, arriving early evening and trying to find a place to get a small meal and drink. We were pointed to the Indian street near our hotel but at 9.45pm weâre finding most closing on a Saturday night!! Also no alcohol available in the restaurants, but that is the religion here so be aware. We stumbled on the Bulldog, which had also finished food service but had a band on and offers for the drinks (buy 4 get 1 free). The place has a new modern appearance inside, very open, high ceiling, long back and narrow, but very clean.Staff were friendly, the band were good and they did reasonable priced snacks (chicken wings, fries etc).A must to visit, I appreciate out of sorts from Yonker street, but a good place to eat and drink. We actually had a meal there on our third night, sharing several starters between the 6 of us, which was reasonable and good value.Definitely worth a visit.
