The Mechanicsburg food scene has really started changing over recent years. For many years, we didn't have the food diversity and choices that we have today. It used to be chains, Italian, Chinese, and an occasional Japanese restaurant. We are starting to see Vietnamese, Thai, and Indian restaurants just to name a few popping up all over the area. For the Thai Café Lunch Buffet, they offered two soups which included the Tom Yum and Tom Kha. I had both and they were good but the Tom Yum was my favorite. Had a nice kick. They also offered a mango salad but I didn't try it. The entrees included 6-8 different dishes but I really enjoyed the yellow chicken curry. The Pad Pad Pork was also delicious. For dessert, I tried the Thai tapioca and banana fritter. Again, both were excellent. Great staff and service. We found a new place for lunch!

Pho Miss Saigon provides Appetizers, Pho, Vermicelli Noodles, and Grilled Entrees to the Mechanicsburg, PA area.
We were feeling hungry after a long trip and my wife was hankering for pho. A lot of places were closed the day after New Year's, so we settled on Pho Miss Saigon 2. We arrived sometime after 8 p.m. and found only three of the twelve tables occupied in the sparely decorated dining room. My wife ordered the pho, which was exactly what she wanted. The large bowl is large indeed. I'm not a big pho fan, so I ordered barbecued lemon chicken. The chicken was very nicely presented and very tasty. Service was courteous. We would definitely visit again.

Overall food is pretty good. Had Mongolian beef. And the sweet chili wings really great. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Had bubble waffle sundae which was fun and also quiet good. Casual, no one waits on your table (which is fine). Would return of in area but not worth a 45 min drive.

This is one of our favorite Chinese places to eat PA it is a buffet that has over a hundred choices of items to choose from to eat. There is anything from Steak to fry chicken to all kinds of fish seafood including large crabs hole. They even have muscles and shrimp that I would guess is 10 to 12 count or even biggerThey have a large variety of sushi that is excellent. There dessert is great also. Lots of Chinese places have pre-made or Frozen types of dessert that's really not that good but this place is amazing. They got a large chocolate fountain with as many large marshmallows and strawberries that you could place in it to cover with chocolate. They have at least 12 different flavors of ice cream which is out of this world. I got four different flavors. My personal favorite is vanilla moose tracks with cookies and cream and peanut swirl topped off with a little bit of raspberry.

My wife and I got takeout from here for the first time last weekend. I've not eatenMuch better Vietnamese food so I don't have too much to compare it against. But I was impressed. The restaurant was very clean and new looking (much nicer than I expected given it's in a strip plaza) and they had our takeout ready for us and bagged at the front. We ordered 2 types of pho. Each one had a separate broth container and then all the add-ins were in a separate box. Both broths (chicken and beef) were super tasty and all the add ins were fresh and went together nicely. I liked the spicy/sweet sauce that came with as well.Prices are reasonable and it seems lighter/fresher than many other Asian options in the area. We will definitely return when we feel like some pho again.

I was feeling a bit homesick and wanted delicious Thai food to take my mind off of it but I had never had Thai food at any place other than the one from my hometown. I ordered the Panang with beef, on the waitress' recommendation, and spicy, since I can take the heat. It was wonderful. I had the beginnings of a cold and the spiciness was perfect for my stuffed up nose and sore throat. I can't wait to go back!

Only 2nd time 2 Chalit's and first at their new, larger location. Looks great inside. We were quickly welcomed and seated. Waiter was friendly and helpful - especially with helping us to decide what heat level (1 - 10) we would most like. Agree, it would be nice to have a water carafe for the table.Food was fresh and tasty. My only issue was in trying to cut the pieces of chicken into smaller bits (no knife). While it tasted good, I found it hard to use the side of the fork to cut in half. Will definitely return though as we both enjoyed the meal.
