Iâve been coming here for years. Duc has awesome egg rolls and I often come in just to get those. Friendly service and family owned.

Completely empty should've been my first sign of trouble. Upon entering I'm faced with a maybe 14-16 y. o. girl sitting on a bike at the cashiers station. Blankly looking at me I ask her, what's good...."um, a lot of things". Then she rode off to the other side of the restaurant, ran in the kitchen to report my presence then returned to her bike. A server surfaced from the kitchen, I ordered, it came, I left. The Vietnamese Egg Rolls were bland, skiny and over done. The Garlic Chicken that I had ordered spicy was a huge, oily mess full of red pepper seed and gobs and gobs of CHILI OIL! It was truly the grossest dish I've ever been served at an Asian restaurant. It had absolutely ZERO taste and was only seasoned with hot chili oil...and plenty of it! (see pic...gross). The beef Lo mein was just that. OK but I guess I can't expect too much with lo mein...but also, tasteless. So in short....Don't Bother with this place! I never will again. I just try to frequent the little local joints and it's a crap shoot. I've found lots of wonderful gems this way but this was anything, but!
Eggrolls, rice and noodles dishes, inventive desserts, bubble tea and thai iced coffee - all freshly made, authentically tasting of Asia! House-made sauces are very delicious, whether served with your eggroll or noodle salad.

Osaka Sushi and Hibachi Maplewood does an excellent job of filling a niche in the Maplewood mall area that was most recently attempted by the awkwardly named and executed Tsunami. Its approach to Japanese is multipronged and out of the ordinary, compleme
Upon approach, this doesn't appear to be a restaurant for good dining, the front door has a strange design and the area almost looked almost deserted. Upon entering, the reception was nice and attentive - we were quickly seated. Be forewarned that everyone must be present in your party before seating takes place. That have a nice bar menu for cocktails ($6.95 each) - Sex on the Beach seemed to be a favorite. I ordered the lemon drop martini, it was terrible. I sent it back and tried Sex on the Beach, it was pretty good. Our cook was friendly and interacted with everyone at the table. His spatula flipping, egg tossing, double-back hibachi skills were not the greatest, but he was friendly and knew how to handle himself at the grill. The food was quite tasty - mixed veggies, fried or white rice, salad with ginger dressing and soup, and 2 pieces of shrimp is the base meal...upon which you may add steak, chicken, salmon, shrimp (or any combination thereof). You will also receive a ginger sauce and the yum-yum sauce which is....wait for it....YUM YUM!! I ordered the salmon and it was an enjoyable meal. No matter what your order, it's all about the experience and interactions. You will be offered saki (but not in a traditional sense). And if you can overlook the need for minor visual improvements, good times and a good meal will be had!
Wonderful authentic Asian food. It is always nice to support a local business. Great prices, Great service. Generous portions. Highly recommend.

This establishment is very new. It's really clean and the food is yummy! The owner is the owner of Akita/Kyotos brother. This place definitely has more on the menu than the other all you can eat sushi. The service is fast and the food comes out fast. Always hot and delicious. I haven't been to any other sushi place since.

We ordered a few dishes all of which were great. The sweet and sour chicken was just right with nice lumps of pineapple and chicken. The chicken wings were extra crispy and juicy, pepper beef was mixed with bell peppers and onion in a nice sauce, and the fried rice was prepared well. Quickly prepared and Portion sizes were good as well. Its worth a try.

Tons of choices and great service. Good food, clean bathrooms, tasty and salubrious chicken stick, the sushi and Lo mein was also good.

This restaurant is on a strip near Maplewood Mall. The food was excellent overall. A large varied menu including Japanese, Thai and Viet options. Vegetables are treated with care and respect. I was looking for a spicy meal and ordered the green curry near the hot end of the scale and was very happy with the food. Others ordered nigiri sushi and sashimi and enjoyed the presentation and the food.

3.5 "bubbles" but will round up to 4. I reviewed this place in October 2017 after having had a disappointing experience. I went again recently and had a much better experience. My friend had a bowl of noodles/bowl of soup with noodles that looked excellent (even better than the dish I had), but mine was good too. Free parking very closeAccessible
