People from this small city have limited options for restaurant to celebrate special occasions. One of the bigger restaurant is Mary Jay. Located along Gen. Luna St, its specialty is their Crispy Pata (but another restaurant beside them is contesting that)If you happen to visit Malabon, this is one of the place to visit. Try their Crispy Pata and try the restaurant beside them and compare the difference.

My first visit to Master Garden in Malabon was unremarkable, maybe because my companions ordered standard staples like pork sisig, sinigang, etc. But on my next visit, a different set of companions ordered items like Sugpo Sa Maalat Na Dagat, Tofu Sisig, Sinuglaw, Squid in Olive Oil... all of which were delicious - a pleasant surprise and enough to overturn my initial "ordinary" impressions. Maybe because it is in Malabon, the seafood is probably fresher and tastes better. Service is attentive on a Saturday night, despite the live music. Credit cards are accepted.

A very nice floating restaurant in Malabon. The foods that we ordered were all good especially the Sisig. The place and ambiance were all good too! Except for the mosquitoes, that was quite acceptable because of the water, given that it was a floating restaurant. All in all, it was a great food place!

Well known for its kakanin, Dolorâs native delicacies include puto, kutsinta and sapin sapin among others. Just the sapin sapin itself is a sure winner for me. Iâve had this snack a number of times. Consistently good. And then this DK kiosk in Makati started to sell Turon and Okoy, both native snacks as well. Liked the turon especially when newly cooked and still hot. It contained langka (jackfruit) and was crispy outside. But the okoy was a disaster. Suffice to say: Stay away !DK should stick to sticky rice / kakanin. Thatâs their specialty.

Their 'crispy pata' is quite a different version from the rest as this one is bit sweet but excellent! The skin so crisp and the meat so tender. Many other favourites in the menu including sweet and sour bola bola. Worth a visit.
