Visited Kanjana for the first time (for dinner) with my husband, as he occasionally has lunch here with his coworkers. My test for authentic thai is drunken noodles, and my husband's test is pad thai. Within minutes of ordering, our food was served piping hot. The portion size was large enough for two people. The drunken noodles with sliced beef was delicious and very authentic. I was 100% delighted with my food, and my husband had me try his pad thai with chicken. It was phenomenal. Both entrees were under $15.The restaurant is in a strip mall next to a Chipotle and a dance studio. Do not be turned off from the exterior. The interior is very clean, peaceful, and quiet. Our servers were attentive and our water glasses were refilled numerous times without having to ask. We will definitely return for another lovely dining experience.

Been going there for over 20 years always great service and food. Most consistent restaurant we know of when it comes to quality and service. Very good menu top notch dumplings, always packed on Friday and Sat night so make a reservation
Small restaurant that's a bit "hidden" but worth seeking out. They're a bit busy at lunch time but the food is very good. We had the #10 (chicken with glass noodles, forgive me for forgetting the proper name) and it was top notch. Also, their kimchi was very tasty.

This is best foodwise of three Fairfax locations because the volume of their businesshere allows them to customize dishes within the constraints of time, and your going there in person to tell them what you want in terms of tinkering with spices and herbs, etc.For sit down eating go to N.Pitt Street restaurant in downtown Alexandria ([--])That is more than takeout place and charges somewhat higher prices secondary tocost of locatiional rent. You will also have to tip wait people there, but if you wish toshmooze that is better place. Telegraph Road is all business, and doesn't lend itself to that sort of thing, but should you find yourself a tnearby hotel;. on your way home down the Interstate;. or live around it - this is great food at moderate cost. Can't be beat!

The food is very good here, and I would agree that taking the food home is better than eating on site. I ordered the chicken with vegetables, the hot and sour soup, and the pan fried dumplings. The order lasted us several meals, so well worth the price per dish.

I am far from an expert on Vietnamese food but this place is our go to place when we are in the mood for Pho. My wife and her kids are from Vietnam and they all like the food. Prices are cheap for the portion you get. Service is very fast and could be a good lunch spot or you are in a hurry. We go here about once a month.

Tokyo One is a Japanese Hibachi restaurant located in an unassuming strip mall in Lorton, VA. However, once you walk in it is as nice as any Benehana's I've seen and just as good for half the price. They just updated their menus and offer many types of sushi and other Japanese staples besides the hibachi. We go here once a month and it is consistently good food with great service for an affordable price.

The Corner Q is a full service restaurant serving Filipino-Latin-American cuisine.
I recall having some amazing home-cooked Filipino food a few years back w/some friends. I was impressed with the flavor combinations and variety of options. This restaurant is the closest I have found to that same style of home cooking and all at a fair price. The menu appears to have a mix of Latino, Filipino, and Puerto Rican dishes. The number of different options, most of which I had never heard of before, all sounded appetizing and made deciding my order difficult. The waitstaff was, thankfully, very helpful and provided a good rundown of the different options and what would be good for a first time customer.I started with a nice appetizer, moved on to the main dish, and then concluded with a nice dessert. The entire meal was very reasonable, considering how much I ordered and the portion sizes were just enough to be filling, but not so large as to be stuffed. Considering the price per dish, I'd say it was a well-managed menu.Overall, if you're looking for a good meal with a little kick, you have come to the right place. The food I ordered had a little kick to it, but nothing that would send you running for water. I seldom have the opportunity to say this, but my compliments to the chef of this establishment.

Welcome to Le Thai, an authentic family owned restaurant located in Lorton VA. We offer an authentic Thai taste to our foods and a friendly environment that many of our wonderful customers take pleasure in. Our restaurant will not leave you walking out th
Le Thai Cuisine is a find! Located in a non-descript and slightly run down strip of businesses in the industrial section off Telegraph Road, and near Ft Belvoir, I stumbled onto this place when my lunch alarm went off and I was in the area. I snagged the only open table on the small but very full dining room. My chicken pad Thai special came with a crunchy and fresh tasting vegetable spring roll. My pad Thai was as delicious as any upscale Thai place, and the price was about half as much. Service was outstanding and friendly. With a table of eight JAG officers filling one part of the space and couples filling up the rest, Le Thai is one of those hidden gems inside a hole in the brick wall!

My husband went to pick-up Pho carry-out one day and saw the menu and thought everything looked good so, we decided to visit again. We were glad we did. The service here is very friendly and the food quite good. They do a brisk carry-out business here. We really enjoyed the crispy egg rolls and the "Treasure Boat" was a treat. Our nice server showed us how to use the rice-paper wraps! We will drop in again in the future.
