Indian restaurant bring your own beer and wine (Serve soft drinks) Been serving food in Ross on Wye since 2005 to present Zamzam is a family run business that have been serving good indian food for decades
We visited this restaurant on a Monday night whilst visiting Ross. It was already quite full of locals as they have a special deal at the beginning of the week with 4 courses for £12.95. We regularly eat curries at home and loved the food here. We could see that those in the know had brought their own alcohol but we were happy with the soft drinks on the menu. The service was quick and attentive. We had different main courses, one chicken and the other lamb but both deliciously hot with spices and chillies as requested. The staff were very friendly and took time to discuss the chillies used. Obviously very popular and rightly so. Shame we don't live nearer!

The take away was nice but my husband did not check the contents so we had some one else's sauce and not our noodles! Fortunately the salt n pepper chicken was delicious and the special fried rice had lots of meat and veg. Our daughter had English chicken chips and gravy and apparently they were the best!

Went there on a Sunday night. Lovely and quiet. Waiters were a delight. Sweet and playful with kids. Food was full on LUSH. Happily recommend it to anyone who loves Indian food

Tried Daal Bhat complete lamb meal and was rather disappointed. Lentil soup was nothing special, lamb ok but v small portion of spinach and Nepalese Bread with Garlic and Coriander was just expensive bread. I have eaten here before and it has always been five star so I suspect this was just an off day. The owners are lovely and have always been more than helpful, my fault for not complaining on this day and I shall be back

Riceberry Thai Cuisine an authentic Thai foods and takeaway âHomemade style restaurantsâ We cook the fresh meals every day. If you have exposed to the restaurant's menu. You will receive both delicious and healthy, certainly.
The staff at Riceberry were very polite and helpful, and gave good advice on the best combinations of currys and meats. The restaurant is small (about 6 or 7 tables) but very nicely decorated. The food itself was great, and weâd definitely visit again. Thank you so much for your lovely review for us , we are glad you enjoyed at our small restaurant and hope to see you again. Best regard Riceberry Thai Cuisine Team

This Chinese restaurant/take-away is one of the best I have been to.I had the duck with pancakes and as I don't like the sauce what comes with the duck they let me choose another one.We also had the Cantonese Sweet and Sour Chicken yummy. Vermicelli noodles these were quite spicy but my partner enjoyed them.Sticky ribs were very lean very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and were very helpful.Looking forwards to our next visit.

This little place is at the end of Cinderton village; it was a Sunday night and there was a steady roll of locals collecting their takeaways, we were staying about three miles away at Speech House and fancied an Indian so sat in with the two person banquet. Both food and service here are outstanding, real quality flavoursome food cooked to order, good portions and great value for money. Service with a smile too, the waiter guy was attentive but not overly fussy, a very relaxed and enjoyable meal; we would certainly go back - highly recommended! Photos to follow....

Food good; service fast, friendly, efficient. All the time. I work in Mitcheldean, so have used this take-away probably 20 times in the last 7 years. It has always been good. The service is always fast, friendly, efficient...the food has always been hot, tasty and pleasant. If you and wondering whether to give it a try, I would say that you won't be disappointed.

We went to the restaurant with some customers, the popadoms were good, I then had samosas, they were huge, too big, but just consisted of potatoes and nothing else, no spice, and bland. I then had vegetable pathyia it consisted of over cooked potato, one strip of carrot and a piece of broccoli in a very sweet thick sauce, with again no spice, this should be a medium hot dish. We also had very over cooked and quite hard rice. Embarrassing for all as customer and supplier none of us wanted to complain. When we left the restaurant everybody commented how poor the food was, our customers said that the food was normally so good, and were quite shocked by what we were served. Possibly a change of chef, or just a really âoffâ night . Iâve had more spicy cottage pie in the past.

Went due to reviews on TA and really enjoyed the meal, quality of food was excellent. Really recommend a visit and we will return when in the area. Be aware it is a BYO restaurant but a few shops are local that can help if you want alcohol. Thanks for a great meal!
