A surprised finding. Strongly urged by friends to visit Hakata Ikkosha. We came as first customers on this Saturday morning. (Open at 11AM sharp) Welcomed by a classic Japanese greeting (or âyellingâ)! As first customers of the Morning, we could enjoy the âflavored eggsâ for free.Ramen could have light taste(less salty) or normal (salty as usual which I donât favor) and hard noodle texture (my favorite). These âchoicesâ are rarely available in other Ramen restaurants. I love the taste and aroma of Hakata Pork Bones Ramen with flavored hanjuku egg ($7.90). Additional dishes ordered included: Hakata mouthful gyoza (10 pieces for $6.00, each piece was very small, but tasty) and Fried Chicken (3 pieces for $7.00, proper). Their service was responsive and cordial. Its setting: clean, simple and decent. We enjoyed the lunch very much! Weâll be back for more.

This restaurant has its ingredients flown in from Japan, specializing with Kyushu seafood and Kagoshima beef. The sashimi are super fresh and offers excellent quantity, the beef is also nicely priced with their wagyu offerings. Good service with a lively atmosphere. They also offer private dinning rooms which are great for parties.

Tamaen is a Japanese BBQ restaurant that caters the Korean Styled BBQ dishes with a more Japanese twist and high quality Wayou beef selections. Their side dishes are also great, such as their oxtail soup, kimchi cucumber with radish filling, Tamaen original salad, etc. The restaurant also has a nice Sake/Souchu list that are very suitable with BBQ beef dishes. I have always enjoyed their family style friendly service.

Szechwan Chinese restaurant is not the neighborhood shrimp with lobster sauce, egg roll,, chow mein Americanized Chinese cuisine. This is an authentic, unusual real taste of China place. Dined there with a large family group, many of whom are ethnic Chinese. We had a large selection of dishes, many of which I was unfamiliar with. Everything was extremely well prepared, beautifully presented with a large variety of different excellent tastes. This a great dining experience.

Found out about this place simply by accident. Happy that I did. Amazing customer service, like everyone else said, hole in the wall place. We ordered three of their best plates( cheviche, seafood fried rice, beef saltado), just didn't want to take a chance for first time. We will come back here for many times. Food is very tasty but not heavy with fat.

This is a small, unassuming sushi bar tucked into a strip mall. Normally I'd steer away from these kind of places, but we went for lunch from work one day, and I was spotted by one of the Sushi Chef's who used to work at another sushi bar I used to frequent.Ask for Taka if you're sitting at the Sushi bar! The Uni here is ALWAYS good, if you like Uni you must try it here! However, ALL of there fish is always fresh and good.

I am from Northern California with access to great dumpling shops and houses in San Francisco. Din Tai Fung definitely made me fill like I was at home. The offerings were amazing! They were artfully crafted, delicate and I couldn't wait to pop each one in my mouth! The veggie and mushroom bun was heaven. The crab and pork bao were to die for, and I absolutely loved the shrimp and pork wontons.

This was actually the first Gen location I'd ever been to and I can honestly say...it set the bar pretty high for other locations!Definitely one of the best AYCE Korean BBQ restaurants! This location is big, the ambiance is great, dim blue lighting and spacious. And a little extra something is the candy that they have next to the hostess station. My kids love those little lollipops... lol... Not all Gen locations offer that.Service is always quick, attentive and friendly. We were seated in about 5 minutes and orders taken immediately. All of the marinated meats are seasoned perfectly! The beef bulgogi and Hawaiian steak are a must whenever I visit. Wonderful variety of meats all around! This time we ordered the shrimp which was also very tasty but a lot of work peeling so only ordered it once. This last visit was my husbands first time coming to Gen and he fell in love with this place too!All in all, this is a always a great dining experience! Stop by if you're ever in the mood for some Korean BBQ in Torrance...You wont be disappointed!
