We've gone twice now and love the place. Try the reasonably priced appetizers and the fruit drink/desert with coconut milk and ice. We've also tried the noodle dishes and were very happy. The service was great and the place a neat and clean. Waiting for colder weather to try the pho.

This is a fun place to go with the kids as itâs a little bit of an experience. The chefs are interactive with the kids and make it fun for them as most teppanyaki type places do. I think itâs a little expensive for what you get and the sushi isnât very good. The Teppanyaki food is good though.

Now under now owner/cook, this restaurant has become our favorite for Chinese food in Lincoln. They have some unique dishes which other don't have. Service is very good, portions are enough for two, the quality is top notch. If you are in the mood for Chinese food, I highly recommend Happy Garden.

Always looking to support independent local places, we gave LCR a try for takeout last evening. We were impressed with the friendliness and willingness of the staff, but ultimately it's the quality of the food that counts, and we were disappointed. We ordered chicken chow fun, walnut prawns and hot and sour soup. The chow fun was very bland, the prawns greasy and lacking flavor, and the hot and sour soup appropriately hot but otherwise flavorless. Even the fortune cookie was very stale, lol! As to value, we found LCR pricey for the mediocre quality. It's unlikely we'll go back.

Stopped by for lunch. Menu has 20+ entrees at $7.99 with your choice of beef, chicken, or pork, for shrimp add $2.00. I had sweet & sour shrimp. Very good light sauce typical of Thai preparation, pineapple, tomato, bell pepper, etc. Entree was preceded with a simple lettuce & thin strips of carrot salad with a light peanut dressing. The surprise was the included dessert which was a green tapioca. I'd never seen that before. I was told that they only make it there. It's a pleasant ending to the meal.

While the Hotel has some of the nicest rooms anywhere and great deals can be had, the buffet does not meet the same standards. The overall selection was lacking and boring. When the highlight of the meal are the Pot Stickers and Bread Pudding, work is needed.Got a slice of Prime Rib from the carving table and it was essentially inedible. It could not be cut. My table mate had the same issue.Cornbread was dried out. Buffets traditionally are not the highest quality, just mass quantity, but the standards of Thunder Valley should be mett by all parts of the organisation.

I have been to Happy Hour at Red Lantern many times but this was my first dinner inside the restaurant. Very nice ambience and surprisingly quiet considering it is inside the casino which is quite busy. Our waiter was excellent, providing suggestions and several laughs for us. The potstickers were a favorite, and also the cashew chicken. This is a nice restaurant and a good place to bring guests, especially if they want to also do a little gambling when visiting.

Mixed feelings about dinner here. I liked the atmosphere of the sports bar and enjoyed eating outside. The food was mediocre. The seaweed salad, a staple, was to liquidy. The spicy tuna roll was way too big to pick up with chop sticks and too much rice and not enough tuna. The hand roll was also bland. I was not impressed with the food or the service.

This place has won Best Restaurant a couple of times a few years ago. It's like a Japanese restaurant/sports bar and is very popular, usually crowed. However, I don't care to go back. Ordered a tempura combo plate, was soggy oily. My friend ordered some kind of donburi bowl and it was mostly all white rice with very little goodies on top. Perhaps someone who really, really, loves Japanese food might have a different opinion, Found it to be overpriced for what you get. The miso soup was nice.

Seeing as I've spent my fair share of time in Thailand I can appreciate some good authentic thai cuisine. I ordered off the lunch menu the Tom Kha, which is a thai coconut hot and sour soup and it was delicious. Served with a side of rice. I also had the potstickers which were just as yummy. Lunch specials are $10.95 and service is quick incase you gotta get back to work fast. They do to go orders and the customer service was good. It's definitely worth a stop if your in the area.
