I visited this Japanese cuisine restaurant with a friend. The outside doesn't look much but don't judge this place from the outside. There are two seating options: table or side shelf/bar. The tables are more comfortable. The atmosphere is quite intimate. You don't notice other customers.Food is ordered on a computer and arrives on a food train. Once seated, you don't see a service person until you leave or they remove empty plates. The food is excellent. Dishes are small but every bite is to be appreciated. There is quite a lot of variety on the menu for the entire meal. I didn't like the dessert choice, but the rest was good. You don't need to spend a lot of time at this restaurant because the method of service is quick. However, its comfortable enough to linger over the meal if you have a table seating.

Firrst chinese cafe in launceston..Wonderful food including coffee, bubble tea, sandwhiches, fish&chips, and large selections of chinese food.. With lowest price in town
We were really happy to find this restaurant after reading some reviews from Zomato site. We came from Melbourne ( a city with so so many Asian Restaurants ) - Chi Chi met all our needs. We ordered Spring Rolls, Sweet & Sour pork, Pork Ribs with Peking sauce, Home cooked Tofu, Eggplant dish, Seafood Hokkien mee & plain white rice. All these dishes were flavourful, not too oily or too salty! So yummy. Desserts we ordered 2 fried bananas with ice cream and the best dessert is the Red Bean Pancake with ice cream. All these for $118! Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a good place to enjoy some very tasty Thai. We were welcomed, seated and orders taken promptly. The service was quick and the choices we made were delicious, fresh food well presented. We also enjoyed our special drink of coconut juice.

Tasty Thai food which we did enjoy. Probably about a dozen tables. Staff were friendly. Not much change from $100 for three people though.

My wife and I had an unexpected night without kids so we decided we would go out for a meal. We walked around for a while but nothing really appealed. Until we saw Wang's Restaurant. Not having had Chinese for a while we decided to try Wang's. We were so pleased we did.Service was quick and food was on our table a lot faster than we were expecting. The restaurant was full, but it was crowded. The food was excellent - sweet and sour pork and satay beef. Very nice!!The decor is basic but functional. The only downside for us was when we had finished our mains I wanted (and had time for) dessert. Could not see any serving staff about. In the end had to leave without dessert.

Saturday night dinner at Me Wah and it lived up to the hype. This is everything you want in a high end Chinese restaurant. Great menu, expansive wine list with some really good options (Rockford Basket Press Shiraz) and fabulous service/.Everything we ate was amazing - especially the Peking duck & the beef with mustard. I don't eat pork and staff were very accommodating to adapt rice. Coming from Sydney found the pricing very reasonable given the quality.Highly recommended.

On the water so views are good. Menu is quiet limited.Without a doubt the dahl here was the best we have had for several years. But the rest of the menu was difficult to find too much that grab attention. We asked to have the spice level as extra hot; the dahl was spicy, the fish dish was very plain and the sauce was somewhat sweet.Good service.
