Decided to try this restaurant again after six months to see if things had improved. Food still dry, and still trying to run restaurant with too few waiting staff. Food took too long and could not catch anyoneâs eye for service. Wonât be going here again.

The only good thing about this place was the staff - adequate service.The food was not authentic Thai....it has been so dumbed down to suit people that have no idea how thai food should taste like. Those that says its good thai food need to get out and travel the world to really taste the difference!I have been to Thailand and the food at this branch was nothing like the real thing.Food here was not spicy or hot at all, not much herbs used, dishes were too sweet that its so unbearable that lime was needed to dilute the sweetness and dips were not freshly made probably mass ready made dips.The branch in wokingham was so much better as it did resemble something like the real thing...think the staff there said chef was thai. The service was really great to start, and the food was really lovely and very quick, but we felt like we were being rushed to finish to clear the table for the next booking, that wasn't a fun feeling at all, making occasional eye contact with the staff and looks of 'hurry up' being conveyed, we still had our drinks to finish off, also we didn't have starter, which indecently we had been given a nice sweet chilli dip and some prawn crackers, which we hadn't finished by the time the main arrived, and those were taken away without even asking us, and been in there less than an hour, and we didn't have any dessert, so i understand being a Saturday night it's a busy time, but they need to space out their times a bit more if this is the casethank you for the feedback will see what we can do

We've been to Kitsu many many times, this was the first visit since the refurbishment and it's definitely looking smarter than before but with the same excellent quality and great selection of many Japanese foods and very good sushi. We felt that the service was really a bit too quick (first time ever this has been the case), no sooner had we ordered than our food arrived. This might be because they weren't as busy as usual, and it made our evening there feel a little bit rushed which was a bit of a shame.

We wanted a Thai meal, but had arrived late in TW and Kaiâs was the only place we could get a table for 6, if we could eat and be out in 99 mins. We took the chance and Iâm glad we did.Kaiâs is a small and slightly grungy (but clean), the food was good, the service quick, the staff were friendly and the price was reasonable. The woman that runâs the restaurant is a character and she makes sure youâre looked after.The restaurant is not the sort of place to linger for hours with a post-prandial drink. Itâs more of a throw it down before you go to your main event afterwards place.Weâll be back.

The Spice Cottage is fantastic. My husband and I have travelled all over the world and we are very fussy about our food. This curry house is spot -on. We have consistently had lovely food from here. I can honestly say I have never eaten a bad take-away from here. The staff are always lovely and nothing is too much for them. However, it wouldn't eat there - as the takeaway decor leaves a lot to be desired.

We had a business meeting and went here because it was near our hotel. Dreadfully slow service. Undercooked food and curt attitude from the manager and staff. The worst restaurant in town. I am very sorry that your visit to our restaurant was so disappointing. I understand that it was unusually busy last night and that food was delayed, I can only apologise for your experience.As you can see from our reviews most visitors report a high standard of service and food, it is unusual for any of our visitors to have a poor experience.
