Having passed Le Saigon several times and seeing it packed out, we finally gave it a try.I don't have wide experience of Vietnamese food, but the offering from Le Saigon was rather bland and tasteless. The chicken in caramellised ginger was pleasant enough at first taste, but soon became boring. The duck in mango was just generally lacking in flavour and succulence, from both the duck and the mango. The accompanying cantonese rice was made with smoked lardons, giving the rice an overwhelming smokey flavour which I didn't find typically Cantonese.I will not be returning.

We had a delightful dinner here - I mightily recommend the pepper beef with lemongrass, pork fried spring rolls, and garlic rice.Some restaurants may rely on the views from their terrace to attract customers; this isn't one of them. The food was superb, the wine and mojito were delicious, service was great, and yes - you can't beat the waterfront location. After a week of rich, buttery, three-course meals - this hit the spot! Ask the servers for their recommendations - they are very friendly and won't steer you wrong. Bon appetit!

Fail! They have a restaurant full of empty tables a then say that one cannot be served in the restaurant?!I was then informed that they have too many delivery orders.Not impressed that I went out of my way to travel to this restaurant only to be turned away.bonsoirOui effectivement, nous ne sommes pas un restaurant traditionnel et la soirée de Vendredi a été chargé et nous étions complet en commande à livrer et à emporter. Fail !! we had 35 orders before you, not si empty !!! We respect our guest. You can call us before, maybe, Friday night is busy Sir, Week end of St Valentin oblige ??? Quand on ne sait pas, on ne parle pas Monsieur, Toutes nos commandes sont annoncées avec un horaire et devons les respecter malgré le léger retard que nous avons pris dans la soirée, et c'est pour cela que nous avons du refuser le sur place à moins que vous vouliez patientez 1h30 ce qui nous aurait valu un commentaire aussi élogieux que le votre.DésoléLa Direction
