We were refused service by the chef behind the counter saying they were closed. This was annoying as we were within their posted hours, and we had driven from Hirafu. We all loaded back into our vehicle and I then saw a car load of Asian people arrive and walk into the restaurant. I went back in and they were all seated and placing orders. 2 older ladies approached and indicated they were closed. I was obviously very annoyed. I translated what had transpired and one lady was rude, the other shrunk. I then asked the chef who rejected us why? He lost big face, and so he should. After requesting again why he refused us, he made some lame excuse and later gingerly offered to serve us, like a cat that just killed your canary pushing your dead bird toward you. I was in no mood to spend my money here after this treatment. This kind of behavior is shameful. We have frequented this place several times (8+).These people have no appreciation for those who provide their revenue, their bread and butter. No integrity. Racist or just incredibly rude. Take your pick.

This is one of the better Sushi Restaurants in Niseko and right in town on Kutcgans 'Ginza Strip'.Large portions and filling set meals. Counter seating and 'on the floor' seating plus some rooms. Free flow coffee. A popular lunch and dinner venue with parking beside.

Abuch 2 is one of the most popular restaurants in Hirafu. The menu contains fresh Hokkaido produce and created as Modern Japanese dishes. Also more than 300 special drinks are served at the bar area. Abucha 2 has 100 seats and small separate Japanese-styl
This is one of our Niseko favourites - great atmosphere, and great menu & food. Always full and buzzing - they allow a certain number of tables for walk-ins each night, but we always book ahead online. The Hokkaido corn and Sukiyaki are definitely our favourites!

This was a great sushi experience - the Nigiri are made one by one to your request, and you control what and how much to eat. Quality is top notch: great, fresh fish and delicious rice. One word of warning - this quality comes with a (high) price tag, as we ended up paying 6,500 yen (65$) for 22 pieces of Nigiri, which is just enough for two not-so-hungry people.

I gather this place is pretty famous - dinner bookings a must. Sitting seemingly on its own in the quieter, lower part of Niseko village amongst the web of snow covered lanes. A classic single-level timber restaurant with wooden tables, lovely vibe and exceptional food. Loved it.

We had dinner two of the five nights we stayed in Rusutsu. First, because most of the family loves izakaya dishes, but second, we also have a young picky eater. Kakashi has such a huge menu, there were items everyone could enjoy.Every dish we ordered, and we ordered many, were excellently prepared. We also ordered the largest sushi platter they offered - and all the items were fresh and delicious.I could go on and on about skewers, fried items, and yakiniku, but to save you time, everything was exceptional. All their food is prepared to perfection. The service at the restaurant is also exceptional. If you are looking for a fun and casual evening with great food, Kakashi is the place to go. Even if you are not a fan of some traditional izakaya items, there's enough on the huge menu to suit everyone's preferences.

Most of the food in Niseko are generally pricey than other parts of Japan. Therefore, it is nice to find this restaurant serving good value meals. The ramen broth is full of flavour and the servings are generous. The guoza are nicely cooked to crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It is worth the wait even though the food may not be the best in Niseko but it is of good value.

Came here for lunch bc all the options on the mountain were expensive and mediocre. Really great flavours. Husband had chicken with coconut soup and daughter had the meatballs in original soup. Chose 3 for spice but could have done 4-5 I think. Also served with rice which you dunk in the soup. Yum.

I went with my partner and two children and arrived around 5.40pm which worked out well because we managed to get a table straight away so itâs worth getting there around opening to guarantee a table. The restaurant is only small, however itâs quite cosy and the food was very good. My partner and I had the Niseko Ramen (had pay extra for meat and eggs) which was awesome and definitely worth getting. The children had clear Ramen which they said was alright but not amazing. I personally think itâs worth a visit, the reason for a drop in the rating was the children saying the food was alright, paying extra for meat and eggs and we felt it was a little on the expensive side. Our bill came to nearly 6000 yen for the four of us. Upon leaving the restaurant around 6.30pm it was getting quite busy, with people and families queuing out the door.
