Three out of four of us got terrible food poisoning. Our daughter had tofu crepes. We had takeout on Friday. She had diarrhea and vomiting for 11 hours which started on the following Saturday.I had seafood noodles plus lettuce from my daughterâs tofu crêpe entrée on Friday for lunch and had nausea, chills, and vomiting on the following Sunday early morning. I will rest all day Sunday and possibly Monday.My husband had chicken and rice and got terrible diarrhea, also on the following early Sunday morning. He had had a diarrhea issue for a few weeks before due to other health situations and had gotten better. This just compromised his system again and more.

Kyle only has two restaurants right now that serve sushi and/or Asian cuisine - Pho Thaison and Koy. We usually go to Pho Thaison because they are the better of the two, but recently, they have been slipping, so we tried Koy (again - we tried them when they first opened years ago and weren't at all impressed).The service is really slow, but the waitstaff is attentive. The sushi is pretty good, but it seems overpriced overall.In a pinch, this will do, but there is actually a much better place just south in San Marcos - Japan Latino. Pricey, but excellent sushi.

By trying to be all things Asian to all Non-Asian People, Mama Fu's ends up with a fairly bland food style in a stylish setting.

Fantastic choice of food in this place. Chicken, duck, salmon, shrimp, sushi and an endless array of side dishes. All at a good, reasonable price. Good parking area. I am a regular patron and am never disappointed.
