It has a population of 117,842, which makes it the ninth-most populous city in Finland. Ravintola sijaitsee kauppakeskus Apajassa torin alla. Hyvä valikoima aasialaista ruokaa seisovasta pöydästä kohtuuhintaan. Ravintola on yleisilmeeltään siisti ja sisustus on kiva. Ruoka on pääosin hyvää ja valikoimaa on reilusti. Maksaessa kassalta saa yhden ruokalautasen per asiakas, joka tuntuu oudolta ihan jo hygienian kannalta. Suklaafondue näytti luotaantyöntävältä, vaikka kaikki muut ruoat olikin kauniisti esillä. Antaisin kolme ja puoli pistettä, jos olisi mahdollista. Tällä kokemuksella ei yllä vielä neljään, vaikka kiva paikka onkin.

Very good lunch buffet, includes soft drinks and coffee&tea and cake as dessert. Good choise of food. But I wonder why they are serving french fries and sausages occasionally.Take out wasn't that good, but for lunch it's a great place.

This is a small place where you can assemble your wok meal from certain options. You can choose what kind of noodle you use and what protein goes into your meal. And it most likely will taste good. Good sized portions too.

We visited Thai restaurant in Kuopio on a weekend day, meaning that they did not had a lunch offer, like they have during weekdays. The service was fairly friendly, and the time needed to prepare the food was fairly short one. However, we were bit disappointed since all the five different meals were very much based on the same base sauce...It looks like they had tuned their menu to be non-spicy. During the lunch time they did have some guests anyway, so people seemed to like that. I have had better Thai food experiences, but this restaurant is the only Thai-restaurant in the nearness.

This is a hidden gem in Kuopio's restaurant scene. I rank it in the same level as Urban or Musta Lammas when you compare tastiness of the food. Layers of flavours, fresh materials and genious new approach of presentation. Difference to Urban or Musta Lammas is that the place is more laid back and bistro style. Menu is a bit narrow. Which is good. And they change it every week! Usually three to four starters and mains and one to two desserts. I recommend that you take all starters and go on from there. Thumbs up!

This restaurant cafe has a great location in Market Square. There is a nice summer terrace.After sightseeing, it was enjoyable to have beers on the terrace.There is self-service. You have order and pay inside. The service there could have been more friendly.

After hearing lot of praises from friends we decided to visit this place for lunch during our last visit to Kuopio. The spread included four curries (chicken, lamb, pork and vegetarian), lentils, fried and plain rice, naan and lassi. There was salad, pickle and poppadom on side. At 10 Euros/person it was a good price. The food was good. The spice was bit toned down for local customers but there was hot sauce for people who like their food bit more spicy. I liked that I could taste difference between four curries and the level of spice was different in all four curries.Overall a positive experience as the food was nice and service was friendly. The owner/manager was kind to let us know the ingredients just in case one of us had dietary restrictions or allergies.The restaurant is in the basement and there is no signage on the ground floor which made it bit tricky to locate this place.

A nice restaurant near Kuopio city center. The service was friendly, the waiter have a good knowledge about menu. They have a good variety at the menu, even specilities like gluten free. Their specility are Isaan region style food. I have high hopes because good ratings, but Samruais food could not live up expectations, curry was ok, but not great. Anyway might come back some day.
