Certainly an amazing dining experience at this cosy diner tucked away at the end of mangrove swamp. Especially for guests staying at Soneva Kiri, mins away by speed boat, our butler reserved the dinner reservation and what an experience ! The menu items are reserved to what the diner's signature chef, Khun Benz, can get her hands on, for the day and just seat back and be prepared to be thrilled by a gastronomic journey. I would recommend any guests staying at Soneva Kiri to dine here. For non-resort guests, best get their resort to reserve in advance to avoid disappointment or "perceived" disservice. The diner commands a premium and certainly so.
Food was very good. We ordered the garlic prawns, grilled fish of the day and kale in oyster sauce. The food came fairly quickly but we were early (about 6) and it got quite busy after that. Would highly recommend the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. It was wonderful and unique.

Small but cozy family restaurant with the most delicious and cheapest food on the Koh Kood island.
This street corner restaurant was described as a slum by one of its regulars. True, it doesn't look like much. Why should it? The place is packed with people who come back again and again for truly brilliant Thai food. Madame Chef cooks everything herself. You can order off menu. Try the chicken and cashews. Try the Thai omelette. Try the stuffed omelette. Try the greens and dried pork. Just mind your step in case you end up in the water.
Shantaa Restaurant located on a high ground inside the Shantaa Resort. We have the best view of the bay. The sunset view here is very beautiful. Here, all items are carefully selected and prepared freshly from fresh ingredients by our local chefs to ensur
Most delicious, beautifully presented, delicate Thai dishes. Worthy of MasterChef accolade! We had tempura veg ( light, fluffy batter, wide range of veg), followed by sea bass salad and garlic black pepper squid - super-yum. Only gripe, portions too generous! Lovely ambiance, attentive staff. Think I've died and gone to heaven!!
What a great little restaurant! We ended up eating hear most nights - lovely chilled atmosphere and really delicious Thai food at great prices. And the Gin and Tonic came in pretty much a pint glass - what more could you ask! The panang curry and coconut soup were both exceptional! Can't recommend Bang Bao Home enough!

Chonthicha Restaurant is on a pier on Ao Yai Bay, in the south east of Ko Kut.It offers, without any doubt, the best seafood on the island. Not only the best, but the freshest and the most reasonably priced.Four of us sat enjoying the sea breeze and Leo beers while we waited for our steamed prawns with salt, fish tempura, fresh oysters, yam talay (a spicy salad with seafood), and prawns in tamarind sauce, and steamed rice, of course. With several bottles of Leo beer, the bill came to a modest Baht 1,600.

Ate here once. Food and live music was great but slow drink service. A very busy restaurant and the most touristy place on whole island. Food no better than the hotel we walked 4km from and staff were more interested in European patrons!

Location is very good, straight next to the peter pan resort and away resort, you can see beautiful sunsets there. I recommend their Vietnamese coffee with sweetened milk and banana cake, other dishes were not that good (pad thai did not have any flavour at all). Otherwise a nice place to stop by for a good coffee and a piece of great cake (there are not many places on koh kut where you can get a piece of cake)

In the fishing village in Bao Ao Yi Fishing Village at the first entrance (not at the end by the big pier) Walk down the concrete path about 200 meters. Noochy Seafood is the last restaurant on the left hand side.
We tried several dishes: scallops, prawns and lobster. Everything was delicious and served in nice portions. Service was a little slow although the restaurant was half empty. I assume this part could be improved but the experience was great overall.

If you visit in Koh Kood, you should visit here. Food is 5/5. My opinion is that this place should double their prices :) Remember to make a reservation because they have only few tables.
