This restaurant has been around for a very long time. They have earned a good reputation. It's very clean. The atmosphere is content. The server's have been there for years. The food is phenomenal. The egg rolls and crab ragoons are out of this world. My favorite entree is their Hung Sou Shrimp with extra sauce and dragon rice. Stop there if you're in town, you can't go wrong.

Located inside Water Tower Place, this is designed as a high end mall food court, with an interesting twist in that you get a card which is swiped at each place and then you pay on the way out. I liked the concept, and the wide selection of different classic Chicago food choices. However, we tried food from five different places and it was all very average. It would be a good choice for families with kids because it is fun and there is something for everyone, but it would have been better if the good was more memorable.

Went here for lunch today and when it's time for my check to come, a paper receipt was just laid on our table while observed other customer's receipt was in a tray! First ever restaurant that I encountered this. I say, they don't treat all their customer equal. They don't accept American Express either.... Food is not so good either comparing to other places I've been. Well, I will never go back there that's for sure! Btw, the server was manning the cashier too... Not good!

For my husband's birthday, he likes to order Chinese food, but since moving to Shorewood we haven't found a great place from which to order. Until now. I ordered him a dinner special and picked it up. The service was fast and friendly; the food was ready quickly and the front desk employee was polite as he greeted me when I arrived and thanked me for coming in when I left. My husband's order was correct (I mention this only because I've had bad experiences with correctness of take-out orders). It smelled and looked delicious upon opening the boxes. There was a lot of food and it absolutely was delicious. For the affordable price, great service, and great food, we will be using China Cook as my husband's go-to for Chinese in the future.

Went here for a birthday and it was fantastic. Greeted and seated immediately. Every thing was prepared fresh and was delicious. We ate off the all you can eat menu and were not disappointed. Previous complaints about the service did not apply. Our server Danielle was great. Highly recommend this place and will go again.

Truthfully, I wasn't expecting much because of the location. However, Flavors Buffet had several good items and super friendly service. The cashier, hostess, waitress and even the employees at the food stations were all wonderful. The beef tip was fantastic! Perfectly cooked and quite flavorful and tender. It was wing night and all of the different wing flavors I tried were delicious. The food at the Asian station was great... noodles, green beans and teriyaki chicken. The slice of chocolate chip pie for dessert was richly divine. My only disappointment was the salad bar. The toppings and lettuce weren't very appetizing. Also, I was really disappointed to see the only fruit they had was canned peaches. Surprisingly, I later saw that they had their fresh fruit at the dessert bar. I never see that at any other buffet. Nobody was eating it from over there.Ultimately, though, there was little to complain about in regards to Flavors Buffet and the price was actually lower than expected. A great value!!Thanks for the review! We appreciate the feedback!
