Iâve gone there three times since April or so. I wanted something different, so when I came across this place, I wanted to try it. Their lunch special and regular price are higher than most Thai restaurants. Most Thai restaurant lunch specials are usually $6.95. Served great. The bar tender is very friendly. Last tine I ate there, my stomach went bad immediately after eating. I will not be going back. Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Our prices run in line with most other Thai eateries in the area. We aren't sure where the $6.95 lunch specials are but we are sure their service and food cannot match ours. Not bragging just stating a point. You get what you pay for. No plastic tablecloths here, no paper napkins, no styrofoam plates or pre-cooked meals. We hope you find another thai eatery in the area to enjoy.

Since I've had Chinese in Chinatown and Peter Chang in Charlottesville it's hard for other places to compete. Full Kee is the best of the American Chinese we've had in awhile. Clean space, friendly staff, and pretty presentation help to elevate the food. They are generous with rice refills be that keeps my growing teenage son happy.

This is still out go to sushi place. My only criticism is the plastic straw! I wish they would no assume that every one wants one. They just end up in the land fill or ocean. Please, I you go, ask for no straw.

This restaurant opened in May 2018 with, apparently, not too much fanfare; we noticed it for the first time Saturday and we drive down 68 a lot. We decided to go for lunch on Sunday. They have an extensive menu with typical Thai dishes and a nice selection of sushi. There is also a weekday luncheon menu with several options. However, the weekend lunch menu has only 2 choices: Pad Thai and Basil Fried Rice, each with your choice of protein. You can vary the spiciness upon request. We each got the Pad Thai -- mine was with tofu, and his was with beef. I got mine "normal" in regard to spiciness, and he got a "2." He said he couldn't imagine a 5. Mine was just right for me, and I asked for a spice tray that came with 4 jars of sauces, including hoisin, which I'd never seen on a Thai spice tray until then. Our meal came with a spring roll and a small bowl of hot and sour soup, both excellent. I especially liked the soup. The menu indicated that the entrée came with a spring roll, but the soup was a surprise. We sat outside. Aside from the flies, which were to be expected, it was a pleasant experience and we were not forgotten by waitstaff. Others were seated outside, as well. I thought my Pad Thai was fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. It was on par with other Thai restaurants in the area. The Thai tea was in a mason jar and very good. We were very well taken care of, and the experience was good. We will return, maybe for dinner.

Had a mid-week dinner with a group of about ten colleagues, and there was plenty of space to accommodate. The restaurant does brisk business, and rightfully so, because of the wide selection. I went with the tofu-vermicelli dish, served lukewarm. Delicious! Word to the wise: the little glass jar of crushed red pepper sauce on every table has a spicy factor of about three skull-and-crossbones!

We actually dined here by mistake; we were looking for the Bahn Mi sandwich shop on the same road and landed here instead. After a look at the menu, we decided to stay and were very glad we did. We started with the crabmeat and asparagus soup, which was delicious - sort of like egg drop soup with crab flavoring and white asparagus. Our entrees were the shrimp and scallops in garlic sauce, grilled lemon chicken with house red rice. Both were delicious, and did not fall in line with the regrettable trend among Asian restaurants of making dishes too sweet. Service was friendly and reasonably prompt. We would definitely recommend.

I've eaten here several times. They have a very good selection of entrees with the standard choices of levels of "heat' to your taste. Wait staff was fast and friendly, and the food very good and in good portion size. Prices are reasonable. It's a nice restaurant. The shopping center parking lot is confusing, but it's worth the drive around to find this one!

I clicked the right address on the TripAdvisor app for Gate City but the address in this listing is different so...?? Anyway: my review: We went for lunch on a snowy Saturday so that may have been why we were the only people in there during our entire meal. The outside is not inviting at all but the reviews were good and the location was perfect for leaving the coliseum area. We saw they had a lunch menu online but it was not available since it was Saturday so we paid a bit more than I would have liked. The staff was perfect. The Pad Thai was tasty. The interior was not inviting (many mismatched tile areas on the floor, wobbly chairs, no ambiance). It was good but I probably wonât go back with other places to try in town.

Saturday night dinner at 5:30. Not super busy (but they also don't have many tables) Only thumbs down would be the seating, very uncomfortable. Sushi/sashimi was good. We will try it out again, maybe bring a pillow to sit on :)
