Come by your local Noodles & Company at 201 S Clinton, , Iowa City where its globally inspired dishes including noodles, soups and salads, come together to create a World Kitchen.
On a very cold day, the chicken noodle soup was just the ticket. There was plenty of chicken and nicely spiced with black pepper. My pal had butter noodles and cobbled that right down as we sat in the front window people watching. The staff was pleasant and brought our food in about 4 minutes.

I've been coming to this restaurant and ordering takeout for over a year now and never have I had a problem until today. I ordered what I always order, Red Curry which comes with bamboo, green beans, bell peppers, and sweet basil. I order that with no bell peppers and add potatoes. We ordered for take out and my curry had no potatoes, no green bean and it came with pineapple. Now I live right above the restaurant, so we went down and talked to the chef. He gives me another curry with carrots, potatoes, onions still no green beans and now barely any Bamboo. We go down again and the lady who took our order over the phone now tells us that there has been a change of the menu online. How was I suppose to know this when ordering? And then the same girl who took our order puts the blame on the "new" servers and the "new"chef. But yet she was the one who took our order. I understand that my order could've gotten mistaken with the pineapple curry but to mess up my order two times is ridiculous. I hope they figure out this mess out soon.

I visited this past weekend for lunch. It was my first visit. It was not busy. They have quite a few tables in the dining area. It looks like they have a set up at the front counter for a buffet offering. I had the lunch special of Kung Pao Chicken. I had the Lo Mein instead of rice. A short time later my plate of food arrived. It was a very generous serving of food. The Kung Pao Chicken was good and I loved the Lo Mein. The lunch meal also comes with a drink. I ended up taking home about half of my meal. It is a very fair price for what you get. The front dining area was very clean, as was the bathroom. I will absolutely visit again.

"Steamed asian dumplings and buns made by a blonde in Iowa." Dumpling Darling features foods from around the globe. Our steamed and fried dumplings are inspired by South Korean cuisine. You'll find a variety of bao buns, intricate salads made with kimchi,
The steamed dumplings we ordered were ok. The fried are superior. What is truly outstanding is the very tasty and generously portioned kimchi fried rice. Order this in addition to whatever you are ordering and you will leave this cute and small restaurant happy and satisfied.

I don't know if it's the best, but it is delicious and I will return. Pros: Owned and run by friendly couple, delicious broth in pho and fuller bodied broth than a competing local pho joint, meats are generously added, huge portions, served exceedingly hot just as it should be with rare beef cooking in the broth Cons: very small (there are certain advantages to this also I'm sure), delays in service with only 2 people working, one size pho only may be way too much for some, more expensive than local competition, very limited menu.

Other reviews sent me here and I am grateful. This is an authentic Sichuan kitchen. The cold Sichuan style noodles were spicy and just the right texture. The poached beef in spicy Sichuan sauce was fabulous. Plenty of beef, lots of vegetables and both spicy and redolent of Sichuan peppercorns. This is a terrific place with friendly and efficient service.

Located in a strip mall, this modest little Japanese restaurant was recommended to us by a local. The waiter brings you hot hand towels before you order, which is a nice treat to freshen up. The Age tofu and the Dragon roll sushi were really good!
