Found this restaurant by chance , and omg how lucky were we , there was only 1 other table occupied but it had only just opened for the evening , upon walking through the door we was very warmly welcomed by James , seated and given prawn crackers straight away, he was very efficient and non intrusive throughout the evening, we chose the buffet and was extremely surprised , it was all cooked fresh to order and plenty of it , the starters were lovely then came the appetiser of duck pancake and lamb ones too!! Then we realised we had to order our mains we were already so full but ordered just a couple of dishes , once again it was so fresh and tasty, a lovely friendly chilled meal with fantastic service and food, will be back when weâre back in Hythe . Thank you very much for your compliments. Hope to see you soon.

I regularly visit this place and am never dissapointed with the food. I have tried many dishes my favourite being the chicken tikka dansak with my special request of making it extra hot. Prices are cheap and the portions are big. Highly recommend. Definitely the best curry house in Hythe.

After a gap of a few years we returned to the vinodhom to find it has had a make over and looks bright and clean. The food was very good with good size portions and full of flavour. Had the garlic and chilli chicken which i really enjoyed. Price for both food and drinks was very reasonable

We visited early Saturday evening. We had been before and were not impressed last time by several things. However, this time we had a warm welcome, excellent service and great food. Will definitely return.

Perhaps the worst food ever . Popadoms dry and over their due date . Curry was from â uncle bensâ jar. But that is insulting uncle bens. Roti looked like a packet chapatti from a supermarket.I had the hottest curry on the menu and it couldnât have been further from the truth.The menu came through our door we gave it a shot .Never again Poor poor poorDear Customer,We are very surprised to read your feedback. We have built a good reputation in Hythe for a good quality, freshly prepared and authentic food. Truly speaking I would like to know the date and name under which your order was made. You should have called us if you didn't like it that much. Came along the Everest Inn Hythe when visiting Hythe. We were greeted so warmly by all the staff and were constantly looked after even in a busy night like Thursday. I took my team here for a work lunch and my god the food was delicious. Really good Indian street food - good choice of food and a good amount too :) Service was very attentive and approachable. Definitely recommend this place and will definitely will be going back with family!

Food was excellent. Friendly Owner provided great service and explained the menu to us. For starters, we had Samosa Chaat and Maru Crispi Bhajia. Our mains were Chettinad Chicken and Tandoori Chicken Tikka Makhani. When ordering the mains, the Owner asked how spicy we wanted the Makhani. When served, it was spiced sufficiently enough for us which added to itâs enjoyment.Food is authentic and Owner informed us that there was no added sugar to the dishes which was good to know as I have recently been diagnosed as diabetic.Will definitely be returning soon.

The food here is fantastic!The whole design of the restuarant is very quirky, colourful and interesting and the customer service was great too. This was our second visit and both times between courses there were some free samples to try, which was a nice touch and made us feel special. There is a range to choose from and at least two vegetarian options. We would highly recommend this restuarant and will be returning again!
