I live in California during the winter, so when I see Sushi on the east coast i'm usually not tempted to try it. Ying's is a pleasant surprise. My friend Mike invited me here one day for lunch and I absolutely loved it. They do some fancy stuff, but i prefer traditional sushi. The fish is fresh and the price is reasonable. Nuff said. Enjoy!
Typical Japanese steakhouse where the food is cooked on a griddle at your table. This is a great place to go with a group of 10. If you show up with a smaller party, they wait to serve you until the table is more or less full.Food is quite good and service is attentive once the service begins.

As the British say, "bog-standard" Chinese food - exactly what you'd expect from a hole in the wall, tires looking small shopping center Chinese place. In other words complete unauthentic American Chinese - not terrible but not very good either. The coconut Shrimp with pineapple came in a yellow sauce that looked (and tasted) like think custard. Not sure what it was supposed to be, but it was too much sauce and overwhelmed the dish. The chicken with vegetables was fine, against, exactly as expected. The pork fried was fine. The worst part of the meal was the egg drop soup with chicken. It's about the worst version of this iv'e ever seen, which is pretty standard from Chinese place to Chinese place - unlike the usual ribbons of egg and chicken in a viscous broth, this was more like they'd blended some egg and some chicken to tiny pieces in a blender, then put it in hot water. It was absolutely terrible. There are better options even in Hyannis. Stay away!

Had a GREAT early dinner at the new retro-themed restaurant Flashback at 294 Main Street in Hyannis on Cape Cod in Massachusetts on the last Thursday in June of 2019 after work with my best bud for food and fun. .Hostess Maria made us feel immediately welcome in her restaurant. The place was empty when we walked in just after five but was hopping by the time we left on this beautiful Cape Cod summer weeknight. We were shepherded to a front window seat by Manager Daniel; we had a great view of the people walking by on the north end of Main Street, an up and coming section of Hyannis. As this was our first visit, he shared the story of the place with us, which includes a full bar and retro video games such as Frogger, my bud's favorite. Thank you, Maria and Daniel..Our Waitress Katelyn did a great job and took excellent care of us throughout the meal. Thank you, Katelyn. Careful how you tip her; the receipt showed tips after the discount. You should reward her on the full undiscounted amount if she gives you the same great service she gave us.Chef Adam Brown came out before we ordered to say hello. He said 95% of what he serves is prepared in the restaurant. After the meal, I got to thank him as I walked by his kitchen for making us two happy diners..General Manager Kelly Ugaz came by between our hors d'oeuvres and dinner. She knew my co-eater from her stint running a restaurant in our home village. They had a lot of catching up to do. What a very nice lady she is. And a good worker--also saw her helping the wait staff take care of customers. Very nice to meet you, Kelly..This is a relatively new place and has a new menu for the summer I was told by the Chef. They serve great food, well prepared, excellently presented and reasonably priced. Thank you, Chef..I look very much forward to my next visit. Would be nice to see you here when I come back. Please tell Hostess Maria, Waitress Katelyn, Chef Adam, Manager Daniel, and General Manager Kelly that you read about how great they are and about their very GREAT place to eat on Trip Advisor.Robert,Your words were thoughtful, kind and greatly appreciated. I am sorry I was not present to say hello. Please come again.Warmest regards,Padr

Visiting the area for a few days. Walked past it looked okay. Itâs not a plush place but food was ok. I had my favourite Pad Thai it was with thin noodles but very nice.My husband had the green curry and thoroughly enjoyed it.They had a Sauvignon blanc by the glass which was good. Overall a decent place for a meal.

I saw this place had mixed reviews so we took a chance. For appetizers we had vegetarian spring roles- basically carrots and cabbage only in fried dough; sue mei (shrimp dumplings)- overcooked with soft shrimp. We ordered empress chicken billed as chicken wrapped in crispy batter with a ginger sauce. It was more like a piece of chicken wrapped in a soft doughnut and no sign of any ginger in the sauce- just a basic brown sauce. We also ordered Shanghai duck billed as spicy crispy duck. Well, the duck had little flavor, tasted as though it had just been defrosted and not spicy at all. Same brown sauce as the chicken dish. We also had to send the two main courses back as they were lukewarm. Even then, they did not come back hot or with much of any notable flavor. We got fried rice that was basically tasteless to accompany the main dishes. In summary, we've been here twice- the first time and the last time.

Bangkok Cuisine is our favorite Thai place on the Cape and we were excited to be back for the summer and able to enjoy it once again. We stopped by for lunch this time and had crab rolls for an appetizer and my wife ordered Fried Dumplings for her lunch and I tried their special Chicken Himmapan. Both were fantastic and we had a very satisfying lunch. As always the service was excellent. We know we can always get a delightful meal here and thatâs why we keep returning.

I had to take a snapshot of our hot and sour soup, for this sums it up: fresh Chinese.Busy year-round - especially popular for tourists - because of its consistently great food and service.Donât let the full parking lot discourage you... it is a sign of good hints inside.(Go for the cucumber martini- youâre welcome.)

Excellent, authentic, fresh sushi., as well as many entree choices. The menu is very extensive, with commonly known favorites and many offerings for the connoisseur. The tempura was delicious. Cold saki is the perfect compliment. Excellent service, and a very pleasant, intimate ambiance. You can also sit at the bar and watch the chefs in action. Highly recommended!

This place is TINY. Probably ok for takeout but I don't recommend eating there. We did eat inside since we were from out of town. The people are friendly but they have more employees than necessary. They are all standing around just watching your reactions. We felt so awkward. The food is just ok. Not as good as we have nearby where live, so maybe we are spoiled.
