Things to do in Huntington
My wife and sister and I were traveling through here looking for a dinner stop, and found the Pho Noodle House in downtown Huntington, not far from the Marshal University campus. It is a cozy place with booths and tables. Our waitress was very welcoming and also helpful with the unfamiliar cuisine. She wisely suggested dishes we would like, and indeed we did. We started with the dumplings. Six were in the appetizer serving, and we got our fried. They were stuffed with a ground pork mix that was very flavorful, and the outside was thin and crisp - delicious. My wife and I got big bowls of rice noodles - mine had shrimp, peanuts, greens, and lots of fresh basil, and came with a bowl of fish sauce. Loved it. My wife had a different meat but the same noodles while my sister got a chicken dish served on a plate. She let me have a bite of hers and the chicken was "melt-in-your-mouth," and very flavorful. We didn't wait long for our dinner and it was all served piping hot. We were all very pleased and wished this place was located in our home town!
Where to eat Fast Food food in Huntington: The Best Restaurants and Bars
First time here. Walked in around lunch time. Good local crowd. Had the lunch special for $4.75 which includes your meal and choice of soup. Had cashew chicken and wonton soup. Portion was huge however I found it to be a bit bland. Rice was good and so was the soup. For the price it was worth it. They have a 7-day buffet. Lunch $5.59 and dinner $7.79 all you can eat. Soft drinks are $1.35 with free refills. The lunch deal would be a great value. Runs 11AM - 4PM. If was a college student I would be on that deal a few times a week!
as im sure you know.....not all Chinese food is cooked the same way so theres no reason to speak about that. This is not a buffet. the cook to order. food is always fresh and delicious. sit in, take out, or delivery

Tired from traveling we just walked across the street from the convention center. Place was full due to a HS homecoming and a concert. Service was very good and we enjoyed egg rolls, won ton soup and a good selection of entrees. Every thing was good but not special.

We go here after church once in a while. The food is not spectacular but itâs good. And the prices canât be beat for lunch!! The dining room is very small but weâve never had to wait long for a table. Service is okay. If youâre in the west end and want Chinese, this is your place. Donât drive out of your way to eat here.

This downtown restaurant is in a pretty area called Pullman Square. The service is excellent. We started with very tasty coconut tofu soup and Tom Yum soup. We both had the veggie tofu dishes that were loaded with vegetables. Although healthy, they did not have a lot of taste. Adding chili sauce helped.

The restaurant is divided with a few hibachi tables or regular table service. They serve hibachi, sushi, Chinese, Thai, and other Asian fusion dishes. I've been going for the last eight years and the quality is always excellent.
