We always look for Asian cuisine (Chinese, Japanese) when we travel and decided to try Youngs based on the most recent, positive TA reviews. The servers were very friendly and helpful about the menu. The menu is extensive with Chinese and sushi choices. We shared wonton soup, pot stickers, an egg roll, and the shrimp with vegetables. The food was good and arrived quickly. There were several other parties in the restaurant who seemed to be enjoying their food, also.

I took four hangry college kids here to get the mission done during our recent trip to Homer. The menu is broad and has things are great and things are are.....well.....so so. Sesame chicken didn't impress. Spicy Korean Pork was an eye opener though. Prices are typical for the Homer Spit, which is to say a bit elevated. But that's the spit. This place could be realistically be in any small town in America as far as family run Asian restaurants go. Decor is muted and simple, service is generally friendly (especially if you know a few Koreas phrases) and the food is hit or miss depending on what you order. Personally, I love this kind of place once I discover what the strong entrees are. But if you want a "fancy" place you're probably in the wrong spot.

The second night we were in Homer we came to this Thai restaurant because in the new opened restaurant Kannery and Grill they messed up with our reservation so we came here.Glad we did, we have spend many holidays in Thailand and ordered ...chicken saté and spring-rolls as an appetizer and our favorite the Thai green curry, but, since we were in Alaska, with salmon instead of chicken. All tasted real Thai food, especially the green curry was delicious.Pity they don't have desserts ??? Some baked bananas with ice cream would have been an extra treat for us.Good price, good food and good service, what could you ask more ?

Majestic views of Kachemak Bay, glaciers and mountains, multiple bird viewing opportunities and a moose or two. We accommodate large parties to 300 people, plenty of parking perfect for weddings and functions. We also have a night club with state of the a
Excellent cooked food and very nice assortment of mixed drinks - but expensive and plenty of good options closer to town. Good place for locals - not good if you are a tourist that has had good sushi anywhere else in the world. Sushi here was terrible - half frozen on giant blobs of rice. We NEVER leave over sushi that we ordered but we left half of our order unfinished. Go hear for good views and decent (albeit very slow) service and if you feel like a drive out of town. Avoid if you are in the mood for good sushi and have experienced good sushi elsewhere.

Had doubts about Thai food in Homer Alaska. The food here was surprisingly delicious and well prepared. I has masaman curry and it was excellent. The sides were good too: steamed dumplings and spring rolls. I will eat here again when I return to Homer. Service was excellent too.
