Reviews on Asian food in Havant, England, United Kingdom. Havant (/ˈhævənt/ HAV-ənt) is a town in the south east corner of Hampshire, England approximately midway between Portsmouth and Chichester. Its borough (population: 125,000) comprises the town and its suburbs including the resort of Hayling Island as well as Rowland's Castle (an exurb), the smaller town of Waterlooville and Langstone Harbour. I have visited this restaurant on two occasions ,the decor is good but found the staff have no personality they go about their work and thatâs it. I tried two different dishes and both tasted the same the second one contained spinach but both just tasted of pepper/ chilli. I ordered on both occasions Diet Coke and both times that was flat. To be honest I have tasted better curry. They need to get a better base of flavour into the curry dishes. Due to my working away I do tend to eat at a lot of Indian restaurants and if working in this area again would go elsewhere.

Called in here for an evening meal, on our way to France. The restaurant came recommended by our taxi driver. We were not disapointed. We were immediately welcomed and shown to our table. This being nicely dressed in fine white table cloths and knapkins, The staff were very effisient and pleasant, and we soon had our drinks. I ordered the Bombay Buffalo Bhuna, this came with vegetables and rice. It was delicious. The meat was for me a very large portion, the pieces of buffalo being at least and inch to an inch and a half chunks. The sauce was lovely and there was so much I had to leave some. My wife had the chicken curry with special fried rice. Again there was a lot of chicken in a lovely sauce. Again so much my wife had to leave some. This was the best indian I have had for several years. This place is well worth a visit.

Iâve been visiting here for over 15 years, the food is fantastic and the service excellent. I would highly recommend them, I have had a chicken chilli masala for the last 10 years and it tastes the same every time. Absolutely brilliant food

Order from here regularly and the food has gone down hill. I had a vegetable biryani on Saturday and on my second mouthful I can across a gold chefs jacket button. safe to say I won't be ordering for this take away again.

Really good menu slightly on the expensive side but you can taste the quality. One piece of feedback for the restaurant us to be careful of cross contaminating your vegetarian dishes. My Vegetarian daughter found some shredded meat in the vegetable chow mein. No major drama as she took it out but was not happy. If you can cross contaminate veggie dishes, there is a danger you could cross contaminate with more serious items such as peanuts etc for those who may be allergic. Great tasting food but dont drop your standards.

First time Iâve been here, although the better half had frequented it a lot. What a great place. Small but spacious restaurant. Wonderful food and good serving staff. And to cap it off, you can take your own drinks with no corkage. The pair of us are more than enough for £12.50 each. Will not be my last visit.

This was such a joy to find - albeit for a really quick meal, i could have stayed longer! The service was fantastic. The choice of starters, main meals and sides, is really quite extensive. I was only recommended the restaurant earlier that evening, and was very glad that I was. I will also be going back (not just to collect my umbrella I forgot!!).

Having traveled from Nottinghamshire to stay at a local hotel, this restaurant was recommended to us by a local resident. A very good choice !

Not as good as it used to be, the new (english) owners/chefs have ruined one of the best restaurants in the area by serving poor quality food using poor low grade ingredients. It's a real shame when greedy owners sacrifice quality food.

Chilli & Lime is your local classic and contemporary South Asian restaurant based in Havant, Hampshire. We pride ourselves on your traditional Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine as well as speciality dishes from South Asia that you will not find elsewhere.
Do not use. Ordered a bhuna and a rogan was delivered. They then said it is a bhuna even though it says on the lid it's a rogan, a bhuna should definitely be dry without whole tomatoes! Called and said they'd delivered wrong item and they denied it and then banned us from ordering as I wanted a some sort of monetary refund.
