Having eaten at genuine teppinyaki restaurants, this was an embarrassment. The 'chef' merely banged his utensils on the grill and intermittently omitted a "woop woop" which was extremely annoying. I left the table while he was preparing the food because of this. I returned to the table to eat a very poor and simple rice with vegetables and scallops with soy sauce.

We were travelling on Mother's Day and were spending the night in Hattiesburg. Of course, prior reservations were impossible for us. We tried a couple other restaurants in the vicinity, but the wait times were over an hour. Then we spied the China Buffet & Sushi Bar and decided to give it a try. We were seated within a moment or two. The buffet was tremendous! Very large selection, food was hot and plentiful (if an entree pan went empty, it was refilled in a minute or two). Even a lobster dish was on the buffet.

This restaurant is super clean. Very friendly wait staff - not overly bothersome (compared to many other Hattiesburg restaurants). And the food.... Amazing! Very fresh tasting! I started with the typical Garden Salad. The lettuce was fresh. The ginger dressing was excellent and mild-flavored. I also ordered Hot Sake. Yummy! I ordered the daily special, "Marble Roll", similar to the "summer Roll" on the menu, but with less avocado. It was delicious! I mean really, really delicious! I've already notified friends and family that this is our new dining spot for sushi!

Meal was ok. Daughter had almond chicken and there was way more almonds then chicken. My other daughters chicken teriyaki was forgotten, so by the time she was served the rest of the family was done. Wife had the hand rolled sushi and it was just ok. I had Few rolls,cant remember which ones but 3 out of 4 of us woke up with stomach aches or mild diarrhea so we dont have to return.

I adore this restaurant! The West Hattiesburg location offers a great ambiance! The decor is beautiful! The restaurant is clean. The servers are friendly and professional and don't bother you to the point of annoyance. And the food is yum-yum-yummy! Always fresh, always delicious! I'm extremely impressed with this restaurant!

Iâve dined here many, many times. But I took a little break from dining here recently. Became a little disappointed in the food and service and cleanliness. Decided to give it another try last week. Was pleasantly surprised. Almost an entire new crew of workers. They were very professional and appropriate. The food was a higher quality than last few visits. And the restaurant seemed much cleaner. (Thank goodness). This last visit mightâve just been a fluke, but I think theyâve made some positive improvements. It reminded me of the way they used to be for years... excellent!!! Hereâs hoping!Rachel, thank you for sharing the love for our great crew and our delicious food. They deliver fresh fast and delicious Chinese meals. The food isn't prepared until your order is placed. It usually takes 5-10 minutes for your order to ' come out' plenty of food for two to share or take home for leftovers

We have tried other China Buffets in town and the food is very delicious. They have a very wide verity in the food bars. The place is very clean. The bathrooms remodeling, and that is all visual i see. I am not a sushi bar person, my wife loves it. She always gets sushi.

Driving up we were unsure what to expect. Restaurant is in industrial area and in nondescript building. However when we got inside we liked everything. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food was good and portions were generous. We would come back again and try some other menu options.
