We dine in Hartsville often and this latest weekend in May we decide for some Thai food. The serves was average at best but the food lacked flavor...even the basic chicken pad thai was very low on flavor. I can overlook poor service at times but the quality of food must be spot on...Bowthai was not on spot and sad to say I do not plan on returning.

Stopped for some take out and I have to say this is the worst Japanese Steakhouse I've ever eaten. Very little veggies (onion, and zucchini) but what there was tasted like it was cooked in 2 day old dish water. Pink sauce was watery and not very appealing. Oh well crossing it off my return list.

Not sure what has happened. This was our 'go to' restaurant for Chinese/Japanese in Hartsville. Service has seriously declined. Waitress appeared frazzled. Brought son's meal...another waitress brought 'my' meal to booth behind us. When that person said "I didn't order this", they took it back to the kitchen. Showed up at my table about 7 minutes later. Iced tea was AWFUL. The lady who got my order by mistake complained about the chicken that she DID order, saying that it appeared to have been cooked 'at least twice.' She ordered what I had (ha) to replace her entree. On the POSITIVE side: Sushi is still great. Highly recommend the AK roll. Fire everyone except the sushi chef.
