Had not been here for a while. So disappointed. It was expensive and the food was not good. The sauces were very similar and bland but with a large chilli thrown on the top to represent the hotter dish we ordered. The wines are also way overpriced for poor quality wine.

olive is fast becoming the chosen favourite amongst 'curry' lovers. Our five star master chefs are dedicated to bringing our wide range of patrons the most authentic Indian cuisine.
Excellent. A modern Indian restaurant specialising in Indian street food. There is an extensive menu with some items, which you would not usually find in an Indian restaurant. There are a variety of vegetarian options. The staff were friendly and helpful in making suggestions from the menu, service was prompt and the food was delicious. The paneer tawa with coconut and ilme rice was lovely. Others in our party had prawn and chicken options for this dish. We also loved the herby potato naan and aubergine and peanut side dish. As noted by other customers, there is no car park as the restaurant is just off the "Magic Roundabout" so parking can be difficult if you are not lucky enough to get one of the spaces on the road outside. We had a great meal here and will return.

Really bad experience at this place as both food is of a poor quality and service lacking. The starters and mains were poorly presented, bland and under-spiced with little flavour. The "duck" was tough and inedible, the lamb chops tasteless, hardly any meat on them and covered with a thick, heavy sauce. Service unfriendly and curt. I would not recommend and I will not go back

Had a lovely lunch here. Food portions were just right and very tasty. It was a bit quiet so not much atmosphere but the decor and tables were very nice.

Bangkok Lounge in Harpenden is an extremely authentic restaurant, decorated with teak wood mirrors, with classic Thai artefacts adorning the walls. The restaurant makes for a very intimate, romantic environment, and with a small number of tables you are g
I love Thai food and was delighted to find that this lived up to my expectations on a family meal visit! The staff were really friendly and took allergy warnings very seriously bringing out the full allergy restricted menu for one of our party. The food was so so delicious with the highlights being the weeping tiger steak and the red chicken curry. That was so good I got an extra one to go which I had for lunch the next day! Hello DJoszef007,Thank you for taking the time to write us such a lovely review! We're delighted that you enjoyed your experience with us and that you enjoyed the weeping tiger steak and the red chicken curry. We hope to serve you more soon!Kind regards,Bangkok Lounge

Weâve had several take away meals since we moved to the area, and we wonât go anywhere else now for Chinese food! You may pay slightly more than other places but you are getting a high quality product. Itâs worth noting the take away menu is priced lower than the eat in menu which makes it superb value. Only ever takes 10-15 minutes from when we call, and the staff are always so friendly. Weâll continue to enjoy our meals from here, and must find a time to eat in the restaurant itself.. keep up the great work!SuperNick..... you are Super ..! Thank you so much for your knock out post, it means everything to us at Chef Peking.! You are right, we are a little more expensive than local take aways but our food is of the highest quality and is freshly delivered to us 3 times weekly. Our produce is only cooked when ordered - never recooked and reheated.Yes, the take away menu at Chef Peking is lower price than table dining which is a more expensive cost to us with staff, table laundry and all the other costs that making table dining much more expensive. Please come and sit with us one night, you will love it..! Take your time to order, there is no rush with us, enjoy your evening slowly and say hello to me.!Thank you Nick, you are SuperNick.!RegardsRachel & Team

In India, roadside dinners are a way of life and for years these family run establishments have been captivating hungry travellers with closely guarded family recipes that have been passed down through the generations. Sarakh aim to tantalise your taste b
What a great find this was! Food is amazing and not your standard curry house fare. The flavours are fabulous and the prices very reasonable. If only they delivered to farther afield I am sure they would spread their message! Itâs great food at good prices! Enjoy!
