I have little doubt that this is definitely one of the top Japanese restaurants in Valence. Its location is really good; in the city center but not on a bustling, busy city street. I really appreciate them NOT using cheap wooden chopsticks that leave pieces of wood in your mouth. Instead they have smooth wooden ones that more resemble the chopsticks in Japan. They food was delicious. I first thought that since Valence is not very close to the sea for fishing that the fish might taste a little bit old, but I am surprisingly wrong! If you are in Valence, come here for this delicious little treat!

Had lunch here with the wife. She had the duck with rice and I had the nasi goreng. Both were fresh and tasty. With drinks the total cost was 21â¬. They also have eftpos. If you're looking for Indian food I would not recommend the Kathmandu. In my opinion their food (Nepalese and Indian) is very much adjusted to the likings of the French. Also, being allergic to milkproducts, there is not much choice as almost every dish has been prepared using milk, crème fraiche or cheese. When I say almost every dish, that includes the rice. Rice!!!The service is very friendly and accomodating, but your spend quite some time waiting for your food to be served. Also the acoustics in the place are pretty bad, so when there are a lot of people it is hard to hear each other when you're with a small group.If you need an Indian restaurant in Valence I would rather recommend the Shalimar (center of Valence) or the Darjeeling (Bourg-les-Valence). Both also offer take-out!
