I almost missed this small restaurant tucked into a strip mall near Whole Foods. Yet another Jody Pennette creation. He has masterminded and created over 300 restaurants in the US. Beautifully done, dark purples and reds, fringed floor lamps, and comfortable booths. At Christmas in the adorable bar, they had a Christmas tree hanging upside down from the ceiling that was decorated. The food is fresh, organic, and cooked to order. I loved the tangerine beef, and fiery chicken. Portions are generous and a half portion was plenty for me. It has a cool vibe and very good music. Eclectic and hip. They aim to please. And say hello to Asia who will greet you at the door.

What's there to say about a low mein / chop suey / sweet and sour chicken restaurant other than it's evocative of the 60s-era Chines establishments? Even if a decent example of the genre, with a super friendly and attentive management (ask for Simon), the best thing to observe is that they serve sushi as well. Ok, there's something way too contrived about Chinese and Japanese food in the same place; sort of like French and German - hey both European, right?? It works though, and nice to be offered an alternative to the glutinous alternatives of our youth. Great for kids take home or casual night out, there are sadly too few alternatives in the area for reliable and more refined Asian cuisine.

We used to eat here quite often when we lived in Greenwich and still do once in while if in the area. it was always good. That was until we started ordering from our local sister restaurant Little Thai Buddha, which I think is better. The service is still best at LTK, but the food is tastier at LTB. Both are great options for quality Thai food. Prices are somewhat reasonable.

We really enjoyed the food here. The menu is quite extensive, with a ton of sushi and hot plate offerings. We ordered a wide variety and every single thing was delicious. Their scallops were prepared perfectly. The sushi sandwich was a hit, too, and unlike anything I'd tried before. The tuna tartar is also very tasty. The portions are quite big, and the service was excellent too. No complaints!

If you want Sushi in Greenwich, CT, this is a good place to go. They have quite the selection of fancy rolls, sashimi, sushi, and hot food too. I tried their Stein Roll, & Tuna tartar and was extremely happy with my choices. The eel was also tasty and fresh as were the salmon skin. Sake is also available; we tried the Karatamba (18$ for 3oo mml) Attentive wait staff. Does have a tendency to get crowded and thus a little loud. (Not because of the music). On the other hand, that means they are busy and the fish is fresh.

I've been to this Asian restaurant over the past 15 years; so has my sister, and we like it well for lunch. We went together today, each trying dishes we hadn't had before. She had velvet corn soup and Szechwan dumplings; I had hot and sour soup and dim sum club, wtih 5 varieties of dim sum. My sister discovered how good Szeschwan dumplings are - they are usually what I choose at Asiana; I liked some of the dim sum very much, but one variety seemed to be stuffed with wasabi that cleaned out my nasal passages. The house fresh pickles are excellent, as are the toasted wonton skins. Oolong tea was so-so. We had an early lunch on Saturday; the restaurant was not crowded as it usually is and the service was prompt and courteous.

The hot and sour soup was odd, the egg rolls were very bland and the General Tsoâs Chicken was glutinous. My husband had moo shu pork and said it lacked flavor. The clue should have been that 90% of the business was takeout. We were visiting family and craving Chinese, but this was a miss.

You are there for the presentation more than the food and kids love the place. The food is average, plentiful and well priced. Went because it was a request from the kids.

Inspired by the "street foods" throughout the exotic region of Asia. Bambou brings this variety of flavors, spices & combinations to experience the best of Asian cuisine. Bambou offers extensive sushi menu, versatile wine list & impressive sake list!
We were a group of 6 adults at Bambou for dinner. We ate on the outdoor patio which was very pleasant with cool breeze and umbrellas. The menu is large and varied, some dishes provide more information such as ingredients. Our waitress was not very knowledgeable about ingredients which was an issue because of food allergies. As such, a more senior staff came over to help. We ordered a variety of appetizers and mains. Unfortunately their timing was off and the mains came out slowly. One of the earlier main entrees was a fried dish and that was unfortunate as we waited for all to be served before beginning. The presentation is as good as it gets from the flowers on the plates to the selection of dinnerware. The majority of the dishes were very tasteful however the tofu dishes were lacking.
