The Oriental Restaurant is just minutes away from Lakeside Shopping in West Thurrock. Come and experience a taste of the Orient with a wide selection of freshly cooked Asian dishes ranging from the classic sweet and sours to spicy Thai curries. With the u
We came as a family of five... 3 young children. The food was lovely and the mock duck was lovely and tender. My husband ordered a pineapple juice and once he emptied his glass he was asked for another drink. However I started off with tap water and was not asked for another drink until we finished our food even though the waitress went past thrice noticing my empty glass whilst I was trying to make eye contact which was not acknowledged to my disappointment. After the food I did finally get asked and ordered a coke and this time my Husband who was on his third drinks order had ordered tap water.I would have bought two more drinks for myself if I was asked for another drink but the opportunity never arose which made me feel my presence wasn't wanted even though We did order over £75 of food regardless of the tap water.I always enjoy the fortune cookies at the end when we do come here but today the service made the special touch at the end more challenging to enjoyHi Manpreet,I am sorry to hear that your experience was not as enjoyable as your would have expected. We noticed that you we and your wife were very busy attending your very young children and did not want to approach your table too many time in case you felt uncomfortable. We have waiters and waitress that walk around the restaurant and would have gladly attended to your needs if you spoke out and asked for them to take your order. We are please that the fortune cookies were a pleasant part of your evening. We hope to see you on another occasion and hope that it would be a pleasant experience for you and your family.Regards,The Oriental Team

Visited with my husband, waiters so friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble, we were greeted warmly and we're seated, at a lovely table, drinks were bought quickly, while we perused the menu, we opted for tandoori king prawns and tandoori king prawn shaslick, a well done garlic naan, with extra garlic, and we also asked it to be thin as possible, tarka Dahl, and chana masala, and we weren't disappointed, when it arrived it was just as we asked for, no butter on the garlic naan, as requested, no cucumber on one of the side salads, everything as we asked for, and it was so delicious, we can't wait to go back, we throughly recommend the spice of india,

The mixed sushi boxes we had were all quite tasty and fairly priced. As other reviewers have commented, the Wasabi surcharge for âeating inâ is a joke because this is a self-service and self-clear shopping centre food court which is used by multiple food outlets! Tried the green tea bubble shake, I like green tea but this shake tasted gross and I would suspect that itâs made from a cheap powered base. So, although Yo Sushi at Bluewater is a bit more expensive, weâll be going there on our next visit.

A delicious taste of Thailand in the heart of Dartford, Royal Siam is an elegant restaurant where youâll enjoy delicious Eastern food in a relaxed, stylish environment. The bright dining room is a comfortable spot to unwind, the space decorated in underst
Visited one Thursday evening with my sister, we shared starters of chicken satay and squid, both really tasty. We then shared mains of Thai green curry and pad Thai, both were really tasty although they were very bright in colour, not sure if there was unnecessary food colouring in it. Friendly service, reasonable prices, would recommend and will come back to try more. They also give you a loyalty card, a good incentive to come back.

Chattorey (hindi, plural) are people devoted to enjoyment, especially that derived from fine food and drink. Basically 'Chattorey' are foodies! We can't wait for you to try the food at our Indian Street Kitchen in Kent. It's about time we all experienced
This really is a hidden gem in Gravesend, food is great, the restaurant is very nice clean and quiet with nice background music. The service is also very good, they are always very nice and welcoming.Food arrives promptly and hot, tastes great and very authentic. Not your usual indian curry house. We've been 4 more times since, and taken many of our friends who also loved it.

Love this restaurant, love the quality and taste of the food. Service sometimes a little slow. The only thing that is a little discerning is that where as we use to go every couple of weeks it's got very expensive and I hope that this isn't going to be their downfall.

Inspired by fast-paced japanese ramen bars, wagamama offers a range of fresh, healthy dishes including ramen, donburi, teppanyaki, curries, salads and juices. wagamama encourages guests to share in their enthusiasm, slurp on noodles, relax in good company
Service good , ambiance good, food ok, pricing through the roof,(lots of staff to pay ?)i mean £3 for a small (and i mean small) steam bun with filling(was tasty though)(2 for £6), must order the smallest buns, and noodles are so so cheap to buy in, but massively over priced menu items £12 for a fried noodle dish, granted a decent amount of noodles, and there are cheaper options too, the Pad Thai not real 'Thai' Pad Thai, just misses the Boat, some rice and meat 1 plate dishes are £15, !! paid £50 for a lunch, check out a Banana Tree for the real deal and less cost for a lunch deal half the price !!we eat out a lot, Visited a Wagamama 3 times over 3 years can't see there being a 4th time, just no real value, nothing special, no excitement to return anytime soon, sure many love it as they don't know any different which is the market they aim for.hey there, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. we are sorry to hear that your visit wasn't perfect on this occasion. would you mind leaving some further details here - https://www.wagamama.com/contact-us so that we are able to take a look into this? thanks

We use to live down the road from this restaurant and got takeaway weekly from there. We moved over 30 miles away but still visit regularly as we havenât found anything to match. The food is delicious, service is always welcoming and attentive. Love Monday nights which is Thali which is a bit like Indian tapas so you get to try lots of things at a reasonable cost.

I just checked and it is three years since I gave this restaurant a glowing review. Having been a long time visitor since it first opened in Bluewater over 20 years ago, the last few years have seen choices and quality of dishes fall and many dishes disappear, especially prawn dishes. For the first time ever today, I was very disappointed in virtually every dish we chose or ordered. The conveyor belt offered nothing but rice dominated tit bits and even our favourite sashimi salmon and tuna didn't seem to be as fresh and firm as they used to be. Soft shell crab has disappeared and the only prawn dish was one fried in breadcrumbs. Sad to see such a swift deterioration of this famous chain and not as though there are many such restaurants to choose from. Sadly, we are going to say goodbye to Yo and next time we visit Bluewater we shall go to another restaurant and have no interest in visiting a new one now opened in Ashford. Guess it is also down to people with kids just wanting something quick, cheap and tasteless and think they are eating Japanese.Hi Travelwise207 thank you for taking the time to leave us your honest feedback. Every year we change our menu to make it better and better. We remove the least popular dishes and increase production of the most popular ones. Also constantly improving already existing dishes. I am sorry to hear that you haven't found anything interesting for you as we keep changing our menu to follow food trends and our customers don't have to eat another boring sandwich but they can eat in colour. Hope you have a great day
