Was written up in the Long Island Newspaper not to long ago. Very good food.
Frankly Thai is a small, prettily decorated restaurant that serves Thai food. And, the food is delicious! I went with a group of people and everyone thought the food was wonderful. There are lunch specials Tuesdays through Friday. I had the Pad Kee Mao, which includes stir-fried flat noodles (which were excellent), with your choice of protein.

Come by your local Noodles & Company at 996 Old Country Road, , Garden City where its globally inspired dishes including noodles, soups and salads, come together to create a World Kitchen.
Noodles & Co is always good and offers a nice array of choices to meet any preference. They have a selection of drinks for dining in or take out and the food is always consistent. Order online for quick pick up is a handy feature. Good food and good service.

Franklin Avenue can be costly, but in our first dinner meeting at this place, we were pleasantly surprised. The dim sum was average but the sati was excellent. The main courses were a Sezuan (sp) hot chicken dish that was excellent and a Thai style basil dish that was better than some Thai restaurants because there was no soupy sauce. The sauces for both main courses was just enough for the dish. These were not special dishes but the avg expense was about $18.50, what "Chef's Specials" cost elsewhere, but the quality was above average and we will be going again. With drinks and overpriced ice cream the bill was over$9O so next time no ice cream. As a business dinner, can't nix the drinks but I will if it becomes a family visit. The food is delicious, so you know the deal now.

I am a sushi lover, and also someone who watches my carb intake. The two don't always go together, but at Tako they can. They have some AMAZING rice-free selections for people who just want some protein, like Yuzu Tuna and Crystal tuna roll, which are AMAZING. The service is quick and efficient. The ambiance is good, the place is small, but they offer friendly service and a great menu (including a nice drink menu too).

Kinha used to be my favorite sushi restaurant in Long Island. The last few times we have been very disappointed. The edadame had too much salt as did the miso soup. I loved the spider roll and sweet potatoe roll which should be served warm. I always request that they be served as soon as available. Recently though they have not. The servers are excellent and accommodating. Try the red dragon roll, the tempura rolls are my favorites. Pad Thai is also good.

My wife and I recently moved to Long Island and after living in LA for many years, we have been looking for our own San Gabriel Valley chinese food scene out here. Chef Wang has a full menu to choose from and we have not been disappointed so far with all the dishes weâve tried. We had some friends who came over and we ordered the lunch specials which are priced well with generous portions and tasted great. Will recommend this restaurant!

The food is uniformly quite good at this traditional Chinese restaurant. The crispy fried fish and shrimp dishes in particular were excellent. The decor looks like it has not been updated since 1986, and is in dire need of modernization. In any event, the food makes it well worth a visit, especially with a large group.

We arrived and it was very busy with a wedding in one room and a full dining room. The host was very polite and we only had a short wait. The food is always head and shoulders above any other Indian cuisine in the NYC metro area. The servings are plentiful and even the mango lassi are better than anyplace else. Well worth the trip for us!
