Love this place. The name of the restaurant is the familyâs name. To pronounce it the g is silent. Huge portions and the price is cheap. Try it, you wonât be disappointed.

We have been wanting to try this spot, but always forgot to make reservations. We finally stopped in this week and had an excellent meal and experience. This is a small, intimate family run business. The Japanese couple that own and run this place are friendly and extremely proud of their culture and their sushi. The restaurant is small and has a few tables built around a small house kitchen. The husband is the sushi chef and the wife is hostess and server. I have been eating sushi for almost 20 years, and learned more about sushi and how to eat it in that one visit than I ever heard of for the last two decades! As our order was brought out, the wife shared with us the proper way to use soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger to compliment the sushi and how to eat the rolls. As she directed us, a whole new appreciation of the subtle tastes and art of sushi exploded in my mouth and in my head! All of the fish was extremely fresh and good quality. The rice was perfect and the roe was the right accent to enhance the taste. If you want quick, cheap sushi, go to HEB or Benchwarmers. If you want a true Japanese experience and sublime, delicious dining experience, go to Sushi Luck. Can't wait to go again!

We went twice, once at lunch-time and another day after the dinner buffet had been set up when items such as oysters and frogs' legs are available. Wonderful selection, they will freshly cook one a steak. Fantastic value for money.
