Don't be misled ( like the Amaroo sign says) by earlier reviews..THIS PLACE HAS CHANGED... FOR THE WORSE .Served disgusting prawn noodle swimming in muck... Gave the manager opportunity to rectify the bad dish and result was worse with a bad attitude to boot. Other customers were also complaining while we were there.. The food is nothing like the misleading pictures on the wall.. Ingredients don't even match let alone inability to cook simple dishes properly ... Save yourself grief and go elsewhere ... Plenty of good places in town.

Joined 2 friends for lunch today at the Sushi Bay. The food was freshly prepared and cooked. Huge variety to choose from. The staff were attentive and friendly. Very comfortable seating and temperature especially on a warm day. Lovely lunchtime dining experience.

We went with friends to 101 Thai Hose for dinner.The staff are friendly and efficient. First of all we shared to starters, the mini spring rolls and the fish cakes. The spring rolls were very tasty.Our friends shared the duck salad and another duck dish with ginger and vegetables which they thoroughly enjoyed.My husband had the Penang Prawn dish which had plenty of king prawns while I had the fabulous beef massaman curry.We took our own wine and were only charged $1 per head corkage which was very reasonable. At around $30 a head it was a well priced, very enjoyable meal.

Our U3A group had a wonderful Christmas lunch in December for $20 a head including a bread roll, full traditional Christmas meal, and alternate desserts. Vegetables were not over cooked or soggy, and everything seems very fresh and well presented. Excellent value, and ideal for our group of 70. Staff were very attentive and we were served at the table rather than buffet style. I have also eaten their luncheon specials from time to time, and also very good value. Wonderful outlook over the golf course. Would recommend.

Iâve been going to this restaurant regularly for the past 5 years and it never fails to impress. The owners are lovely people who always take the time to catch up and make you feel welcome.The food is great. Quick, fresh and very tasty. Iâve tried all of the other options in Forster but keep coming back to I-Dragon!

Walking in the front door, customers dining in have to walk between the front counter and a row of seats for customers waiting for their takeaway orders. This is quite narrow. Anyone in a wheel chair can pass through, but customers in the waiting area will have to get up and move out of the way first.We bought takeaway food which was tasty and in generous portion sizes and the price was quite reasonable $56.50 for 2 large fried rice, Mixed vegetables cooked in oyster sauce and ginger, Malaysian curry chicken with vegetables, Dim sims entree (4 pieces), Mini Spring Rolls entree (4 pieces), container of fried noodles.

I was with party of 30 that had planned to go out for dinner to Kenny's Thai Kitchen. It is a shame that our night was marred by the greeting at the front door of Club Forster that was less than welcoming. Unfortunately some of the party weren't members of the club and rather than try and sell them a membership (which entitles them to food and drink discounts as well as cheaper ticket prices to shows) they decided to berate people for not being members and tell them that they couldn't come in. Great service guys!!! Only that we were then signed in by a member, I would have left for this disgusting greeting. The food was however lovely and I had a lovely night with my friends. But I don't think I would return. Shame on you Club Forster!!! Lift your game.

Great view on a sunny day of the water overlooking Wallis Lake and the Bridge between Forster & Tuncurry. We ordered the Lunch Special and the food arrived in a compartmented box with 4 tastes of Asia with condiments and was what you would expect for a taste of Asia.After paying the bill I realised that we had been overcharged and spoke to a waitperson at the counter who checked and said no, the amount was correct. I disagreed and said we had had the tastes of Asia special from the board, she called the Manager who said that the special did not apply during school holidays and that we would have been told this by the waitperson and that we had ordered the box meal. This was not the case as I understand it. I feel we were misled and believe that the board should be taken down in the school holidays or altered to clearly state that this did not apply during the school holidays. It should not be up to the the wait person to remember to tell patrons this.Hi David,We want to sincerely apologise for your negative experience in our restaurant. We will definitely review this concern together with our team and make every effort it does not happen again.
