This Chinese restaurant was recommended by friend. It is primarily a carry-out restaurant with one long table for customers to sit at while waiting for their carry-out order. We had beef with snow peas carry-out. The beef was tender and the food very good. I recommend getting the menu and calling ahead. When I stopped they were very busy with carry-out orders. The amount of food was generous for the price. We plan to return.

This is not good Chinese food. We ordered a few dishes and nothing had any taste or was in the least bit appealing. Tried sizzling rice soup, szechan chicken, hunan shrimp, and chow mein. Everything was completely blank. Everything was hot and tasted fresh, just no flavor.

The food at the buffet was ok. We did come in late in the lunch hour, so that might have had something to do with it. Service was pretty good, though!

I ordered a lumpia and lechon for a get together and even though they are not open on Sundays she accommodated my needs. Well done Remy!!!!! My guests loved the lumpia and the lechon. I'm glad that she does catering since the restaurant has limited hours. Will definitely order again!!!!!
Our server was charming but the food was not worth returning for. There are many better places to choose for Thai food. We tried this place because they offered Malaysian fare. Some of the various comments from our group of eight were "bland", "over salted" and "disappointing."

My teenage daughter turned me on to JY Bamboo after eating there with friends. There are already quite a few Asian restaurants in Fairborn, some better than others, but I went with an open mind, not knowing what to expect. I'm glad I did, because the food there is delicious and we are now regulars! My daughter is a sushi fanatic and usually orders the Rainbow Roll. So far, all of their sushi has been quite good. Their Kung Pao Chicken is the best either of us has ever had. The staff is prompt and polite and the restaurant appears to be clean.

It is a hole-in-the-wall and the food is as good as the other reviews posted. My parents had gone to eat there first and loved the bibimbap and bulgogi. When I went with them, I introduced them to jap chae and now they love that too!! The little appetizer dishes are my favorite part of any Korean restaurant, the they didn't disappoint. For the three of us alone, the table felt a little small with all our dishes that ordered. But we left with full belies!! Lunch can be busy, but if it's busy, you know it's good. The wait isn't long because they're quick, but they're not rushing you either. Because the Base is across the road, a lot of military and their families were there.

An acquaintance who just recently visited her native Vietnam recommended this restaurant for their authentic food. My husband and I shared pho with fresh veggies and tofu, soft spring rolls, and vermicelli noodle salad. The pho was so delicious, that we took an order home for dinner! The service was prompt and the food was great, best that we've had in the Dayton area.

Inside a small strip mall next to W.O. Wright and across from the Waffle House
This is a good lunch spot. They have a small but plentiful buffet. Quick and easy process to get in and out plus very convenient to WPAFB Area B.

Across the street from Wright State University authentic Thai food fresh, hot and delicious!
Upon entering we noticed an odor of old mop water. We were seated, given menus and water, and then didnât see the waitress for an extended period of time. Note that this was at lunch time, and there were only three other occupied tables. The menu only had dinner prices, no lunch offerings (this was a Saturday, so it seems they charge the same price all day on weekends). All entrees were in the $12-$18 dollar rangeânot inexpensive. We ordered the green curry beef and the Bourbon chicken with Thai noodles. The beef was more a soup. The chicken had good flavor, but overall, the meeting was unexciting. I donât think we will be back.
