Things to do in Ende
Masakan khas dari makassar. Dijamin halal dan lezat..
Bulan april yang lalu pertama kali saya mengunjungi kota maksar saya di ajak makan coto makasar yang rasa nya enak
Cafe and restaurant across the street from Dasi Guesthouse. Lovely open air seats and great food and drinks. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks.
Ipan Cafe n Restaurant has a lovely terrace in a garden, maybe even the only terrace in whole of Ende. They have just started this restaurant which is easily located just across the street of Dasi Guesthouse. The food and juices were great. Our favorites were the Ayam Goreng and the avocado juice. The couple who owns the restaurant are lovely people. They are open from 8am to 10pm every day.
First of all the picture is not this resto lol.(im sorry i can upload a pict.right now but the picture uploaded by other is right across this resto. Yeah its very close to the sea.)What i love from this resto is the owner is cooperative as it easlly reserved by phone. Its a slow cook resto. So it be better if you reserve first. I took about 30-60 minutes for a table. They have fish, chicken, vegetables, and seafood (normally, but sometimes prawn/squid/crab isnt available). The food is great! Really. And it come in big portion too. I love "kangkung bunga pepaya"(water spinach with papaya flower), "terong bakar" (grilled eggplant with sweetsour sauce/soy), and crunchy fried squid with mayonaise. The woku woku fish soup is great too.My my..Well, its a little bit far from the airport (10 minutes or less by car or bike) and is nearby the beach (exactly across the street to the beach cafes (one inside fences))The place might be not that much but the food is good i tell ya.Oh and for fishes menu ask the price first.Hope it helpsAsk me anything

I suppose that for Ende, it is ok. Quite large, with some interest in the decoration, I think it is also suitable for groups. Service was slow to very slow, we manged to order to a girl who spoke little/ no English.I took noodles, as it is their specialty. They were just average, but I was hungry. It was not expensive but still more expensive than in other places on the island.
Delarose restaurant offers unique local ingredients and meals. Our menu changes throughout the year, since every day we search for the best and freshest ingredients to provide our guests with a memorable food experience. For this, guests are required to c
Absolutely the worst experience! We arrived to Moni late afternoon and got stopped on the street by the owner of Delarose(Restaurant that serves the best food in Indonesia)We met a group of lovely people in our accommodation and decided to check his place out.We all ordered a beer each that came warm from the shop near by but restaurant price.During our stay the owner could not be more nicer telling us this sad life story about how difficult it is to make money in his town and how much his family especially his mother that taught him how to cook ment to him etc.As majority of people that came out already ordered food from the homestay we were all booked in we decided to stick together but return the next day to taste his fine cousine that we were all promised.Since his restaurant was not properly established we were asked to pay deposit for the next day booking.Since we were a larger group and the owner came across very genuine we paid between 25.000-50.000 for him to do food shopping. The next day we returned to taste our promised amazing food but insted it we got served a small portion of that he wanted to charge between 70.000-90.000 pp We asked to get our money back. The owner refused saying that the money was already spent on fine ingredients. We said we feel scammed and that's when the true colours came out.Situation escalated and the owner became more and more vocal and aggressive towards us.We walked away with no money and bitter taste in our mouth. Please avoid this place!
Food was good, real spices and local sembal was great. Wildly overcharged for food. $10 for a plate that should cost $3. Laughed at when I asked why so expensive and told "bule harga " foreigner price. Nice options with real prices elsewhere. Don't give money to places that do two tiered pricing.
First of all this resto is nearby the airport and since ende city itself is not that big its so reachable.Secondly, yes its a lil bit pricy the food range around 20-70k and drinks 10-25k (in rupiah) my recomendation is original grilled fish/chicken (duck isnt good) and coconut with brown sugar oh and capcay is good too. Nice i love em.Furthermore, the place is cozy and the waiter is nice, buuut foreigner i m sory they seem lacking english, so yeah...It open from 10 ish am to 11 pm and you can order a delivery to your hotel (then again language problem).Since its a small city, if you stay quite long there isnt that many resto so its one of the decent one.Hope it helps.Ask me anything

We ordered 2 kopi susu (coffee with the Indonesian milk) and it cost 15k per coffee. So an alright price. The atmosphere was good and we enjoyed our time there. We played cards and enjoyed the music. One guy there plays very good guitar. Beautiful spot. They also have a good menu, but it is a lot more expensive than Arwanty Restaurant or Moni Smile.Â

Went here because of tripsdvisor. I dont get this rating.- staff could absolutely not be bothered with you, had to get everything myself. Just sitting around playing with their phones trying to avoid eye contact.- food shocking. Dont get the club sandwich. I didnt expect much, but that was disgusting: Bread wasnt even toasted, meat unidentifiable. As a side, I got 5 or 6 fries.+ the place itself is clean and comfy.Bottom line: Donât go, its absolutely not worth it

Sari Rasa is a great way to learn about Indonesian (Javanese) warung food. Very simple menu of local favorites made with care from local ingredients and no MSG. And you donât have to be embarrassed by ignorance, the delightful owner loves to explain in his excellent English. If you already know then itâs just great local street food in a spotless environment.
