Inspired by the artisanal ingredients and simple, rustic flavors of his native Tohoku region, chef-owner Shotaro Kamio blends the obscure with the familiar for surprisingly extraordinary tastes. Craft beer, wine and sake. Seasonal, local farm-sourced ingr
On Monday nights, this place serves its lunch menu - hence, dinner for the price of lunch. We booked for 5:30 p.m. when the restaurant opens. As opening time approached, a line started to form. Those without reservations were turned away.We ordered several items to share. The pork belly ramen was exquisite. The tempura with prawns was the most unique dish. Instead of individual fried pieces of vegetables and shrimp, all the ingredients were chopped and mixed into one big piece. The serving included four big pieces, each the size of a big hand. We ordered a few other dishes to share, but the tempura and the ramen were stand outs.Service was prompt and professional.

P.F. Chang's is a restaurant concept that honors the 2,000-year-old Asian tradition of wok cooking and believes in making food from scratch every day in every restaurant. With a Farm to Wok food philosophy at its core, P.F. Chang's chefs hand-roll dim sum
This is a chain after all. Menu very inventive and value good. We shared the lettuce wraps, Brussel sprouts, and Spivey cauliflower and portions were generous and we brought leftovers from all three home (which were delicious the next day!). Sangria was excellent. Large place with minimal ambience.

Chi Moon and Jessica Oh have a great little gold mine with their delicious bi bim bap, Korean fried chicken (KFC), and other mouthwatering dishes. Our go to is the bi bim bap - cold or sizzling bowl. The difference is the cold bowl is still served hot while the sizzling bowl is served piping hot in a stone bowl that retains the heat and continues to cook the rice so that you end up with a layer of an encrusted rice shell. I typically order the cold bowl with chicken or spicy chicken on multi grain rice. When served, I get to eat the dish right away rather than wait had united weed the sizzling bowl so that the bowl cools down. We usually order KFC with the sauce on the side. This order is more than enough for two since pan jan (side dishes) are also served with the meal. If you're in Oakland, treat yourself to this delightful meal.

We visited this eatery for dinner during our stay in a near by hotel.Although the restaurant caters to hi tech employees in near by buildings for lunch, dinner was great. The food was fresh, flavoured, colourful and teasted amazing. Service was good as well and the restaurant was clean. The only issue we had with it were the high prices, but that was true to any other restaurant in the bay area.

At the suggestion of my daughter, she and I came here for the dumplings. Even though they were closed for staff lunch, they let us in. The dumplings (pork, cabbage, perhaps something more) were delicious. The dipping sauce was mundane but I ignored that because the dumplings were so good.

Restaurant is situated with a beautiful view of the bay. We were invited to a banquet where we were served 12 different entrees. Especially enjoyed the char shu buns, sui mai, shrimp dumplings and chow fun. Food came in rapid succession and was fresh and hot. Did have to ask for water twice.

I love Yoshi's for their food, service, ambience, venue, what's not to like? Everything was perfect except for 2 things but I'll go into detail after I sing their praises. We came here to see Pride and Joy, a local group celebrating their 37th Anniversary and we have followed them over the years. And what a great intimate opportunity to see them! I made reservations by phone and indicated that we would be celebrating a birthday. We came with 2 other couples who bought Yoshi's gift cards at Costco in advance as you pay $80 for $100 gift cards. Then Before we bought tickets for the show, I saw the general admission tickets on Gold Star for half the price on Ticketfly so I bought 6 tickets! When we arrived it was a few minutes before we were seated but once seated, our server, Michael was very attentive and since he knew it was a birthday celebration as well as us attending the concert inside the showroom, he kept checking with the manager to find out when we would be getting our seat assignments. If you eat in the restaurant, they reserve the seats inside the showroom for your dinner party. Dinner was delish, we had the edamame (complimentary with Yelp check-in), beet salad, spinach salad, black cod, pork chop, and seabass. The only dish that was off was the Brussel sprouts as it was way too sour for our taste. Then we had dessert of sorbet duo, Caf brownie and trio of gelato! Michael remembered to light a candle on the brownie to wish our friend a Happy Birthday! The only other con was that once we finished our dessert and lined up for the show, there was a really long line and we all waited for at least 15 minutes past the showtime to be allowed inside the venue. I believe the reason for the delay was that Yoshi's scheduled another musician to perform at 6:30 pm and after that show, they had to clean up the theatre and let Pride and Joy set up the stage for their show.

Today, our incredible team serves up over 5,000 macs each week; weâve got thirteen different varieties of mac available on any given day, as well as local beer and wine pairings, and homemade desserts like oreos and peanut butter pie. We now have Homeroom
I've been coming here for years to both the restaurant and their to-go location. Be aware- the restaurant is always packed with a long wait because it's that good! It's pretty consistent and I love their Gilroy Garlic Mac. Their buffalo chicken is also great. Definitely recommend!

This place has a hard time managing the crowds and popularity. We spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to get through to order some food to go. Once at the restaurant, it was the usual noise bomb, people shouting instead of having conversations. Lots of people waiting outside for a table. The food is OK.
