Went last night. Ordered Calamari a la Plancha (tasty) and a Greek Salad. Menu said Greek Salad has feta. Arrived with no feta. Asked for feta. Was given some minced feta that probably weighs no more than 40g. Asked the waiter why there was no feta and was given such little feta for a Greek Salad. Manager came and confronted us. Said this is the standard. Canât believe that a Greek Salad that says it has feta came with no feta. And Iâm told this is the standard. And there were croutons. Itâs not a Caesar Salad. They unwillingly took off 50% from the Greek Salad. Fish and Chips were ok. Small piece of battered fish. Ordered a grilled whole fish. But think Iâll be much better off eating grilled seafood from the market next door. What got me was the arrogance of the manager. By the way, there were 2-3 big rats scuttling across our feet a few times. Will not return. . Canât believe that a Greek Salad that says it has feta came with no feta. Nice place, great staff, and friendly place and people. This place was really nice for chill when you have nothing to do in labuan Bajo. Enjoy at swimming pool and have some drinks. I always need my to refill my glass of ocean commotion..... Good for Indra and Mathil thanks for you guys.

The veranda atmosphere of the cafe is inviting without any harsh music or noise. Its great to lounge around on the old fashioned couches and take in mountainous views whilst sipping a minty concoction or a java brew. The menu is substantial and quite tasty. It can get quite busy - so get to your corner early in the evening to secure a good spot. The wifi (free) here is also pretty decent given that Waingapu has weak connectivity in general I hear that Bintang beer has recently been introduced too... :)

This restaurant is located in the grounds of Spring Hill Bungalows, although it seems to be a separate business. We sampled delicious dishes such as spinach with shrimp paste and sautéed green beans. The Japanese pork loin was tender and juicy. Everything was refined and delicious. We were, however, a bit disappointed by the large amount of fried dishes, which narrowed down our selection quite a bit, since we dislike deep fried foods. One suggestion: why not add a dessert list? At least for fresh fruits or ice cream. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Don't miss this sweet place. Owner Chris offers a succulent menu of Indonesian dishes and will customize your order if he is able. We visited 3 times and received excellent service and great food each time. Dishes are prepared fresh so make sure you are not in any rush. Chris is super laidback, has a lot of helpful local knowledge and speaks fluent English which is a rarity in these parts of Indonesia. It was great to get to know him and meet his family. He helped us with finding fresh chicken, data for our phones and gave us a lot of information about the local area. Besides a wide variety of dishes to choose from, Pato Resto also offers fresh juices. I recommend the mixed juice which included banana papaya and lime I think, not sure but whatever it was it was delicious. Oh yeah, also he had the coldest beer in town! Cheers to Chris and his family! They made our time in Riung very special! Terima kasih banyak Meggie.Hope that you return home safely.HORAS!

We thought that it would be wise to book a table for evening in the place #2 in Labuan Bajo but it was empty at 7 p.m. We were the only customers! The food was okay but nothing special. Tempura was fried in a dough but not in the one with crumbles as it should be. The salad with salmon and tube was also OK. Unfortunately, no wine selection, only local Indonesian - either in a pack or by bottle (550.000 IDR).

Sari Rasa is a great way to learn about Indonesian (Javanese) warung food. Very simple menu of local favorites made with care from local ingredients and no MSG. And you donât have to be embarrassed by ignorance, the delightful owner loves to explain in his excellent English.
