Things to do in Dromana
We went as a group for lunch today to celebrate a special occasion. The menu currently offers a limited number of dumpling & noodle dishes including bao buns. The noodle dishes are huge & perfect on a cold 11 degree day. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dumplings & noodle dishes. The hosts generously provided complimentary dishes of edamame & jasmine tea. My daughter wanted a dessert & she was provided the opportunity to be the first to try a coconut ice cream with dragon fruit coulis. Better still it was free & she gave it a big thumbs up. Their prices are extremely reasonable & the restaurant is beautifully decorated. This will be my local fix when Iâm craving dumplings & noodle dishes. Theyâve only been open 4 months & deserve the support of locals & tourists.

We ate at Rosebud Thai to celebrate my daughter's great report. The service was good, the food was delicious but the prices were a bit over the top.We enjoyed green chicken curry, beef massaman, prawn salad, pad thai and spring rolls and everything was delicious!I can't even pick a favourite bevause it was all so good.We took our own wine and the kids had soft drinks. Hopefully they'll stop using straws soon :)

My family and I are locals and while we might only eat here once or twice a year, on special occasions we always find a most welcoming and friendly environment providing excellent Chinese food and wonderful service. These standards have been honed to a consistent very high standard over 30+ years. We always leave vowing that we must come back more often.

3.3, right on its current rating.Competent local Thai restaurant. Itâs a huge cavernous space with plenty of room. I bet itâs packed in peak season but not tonight in the off season particularly while the weather is still rather cool. The pandan chicken for entree was the dish of the night. The chicken was superbly cooked and the dish was well presented. The curry puffs were ok but nothing special. The red duck curry was nice but didnât actually have much duck in it. The flavour in the dish was good though. The Pad ga prow was interesting. No skimping on the seafood which was nice to see. Good amount of flavour as well.Full marks to our young server tonight. Bright, efficient and unfailingly polite, she is terrific. A pleasant meal overall. Som Thai is a good local Thai option if youâre so inclined.

Small and intimate with sensational food. Service excellent and no waiting for courses. The Thai Fish cakes were amazing even down tomthe home made chilli sauce. You dont get a dollop of sweet chilli sauce from a bottle here. Highly recommend this place. Will def go back.

We get here a bit and always enjoy it. We love authentic Asian food and it can be hard to find on the Mornington Peninsula and this is the place to find it. Prices are good and the waitress was super nice and made our family dinner a pleasant one. Keep up the good work team.

It might not look like much from the outside, but it's well worth coming in! We are seasoned Thai-food eaters and frequent travellers to Thailand, so we're tough critics when it comes to Thai food! Admittedly, we didn't expect much from this local place, however we were pleasantly surprised. The staff are friendly and helpful. They ensured I had a comfortable place to park my pram, and were quick to bring children's cutlery and water for my baby and toddler. The service was prompt and efficient. Everything we ate was delicious. If you enjoy authentic, bold, Thai flavours, I would highly recommend the Jungle Curry (soupy consistence, to be eaten with rice). Noodle dishes were tasty, especially the Pad See Ew. Always order a cup of Thai milk tea to calm the fire of the chilli! We will return.
