We had a large family dinner on an ordinary week night. We waited for a guest but the waitress was insistent on taking our order. Therefore, ordered apps and they were ok. Kobe beef was par, but the tuna tower wAs original. Food was ok, nigiri was nothing special. Sushi rolls average size, interesting combos. Teriyaki salmon was a winner at our table. Waitress was no where to be seen after main courses were served. Would go again... Maybe take out.

Modern Thai Cuisine & Tea room
I was in the area for business and had dinner here on two occasions. I ordered the grilled chicken the first time and that was an ok meal. No real complaints and I was aiming for something less greasy.Second time around, I ordered the crispy skin roast pork. They make this on a per order basis which I understand because they probably don't sell these as often. It took a while to prep the meal which was fine because I ordered the duck wrap and it was pretty good. When the roasted pork came out I was ready to dive right in. The meat was overcooked, salty and too dry/hard. The skin was crispy but not in a good way either. I preferred the veggies in that dish instead.Even though I had a bad experience on the last meal, I'll give them a try again if I'm ever in the area. I don't expect a restaurant to have a perfect dish for every entree.

We come here very often, so we definitely like this place. No question about it. I have written more reviews for Miga than any other restaurant. Mostly excellent. Today, my review covers several visits from December to February. The food is almost always great, the service depends on how crowded they are. Only once did I make reservations - for New Years Eve late lunch. I was glad I did. There was a long line of people waiting outside. Most of the time we just drop in between 2-3PM and have no problem being seated. Just this last time, we thought our experience was not as good as on our previous visits. The salmon sashimi was mushy and too soft , impossible to be picked up with chopsticks. We just left it on the plate. Also the spicy rolls ( tuna, salmon) not as good as usual. Specialty Rolls with Mango - hardly any Mango - must have run out. Miso soup was as good as always, as well as the other few hot items from the kitchen. So yes, we will be back eventually ...just not next week.....

Iâm not a huge connoisseur of Asian food but I know what like. Appetizers were wonderful as was my seafood fried rice. I did try some of my partyâs shared portions, not everything is to my liking.

Celebrated birthday with 14 people, excellent service/ did not feel rushed at all . No issues with food orders - hibachi. Hostess was friendly, accommodating & very helpful. Previous post mentioned pest issue- I did contact the town board of health about that- they have been recently inspected & currently have a conditional status. In speaking to them , felt good about eating there. When our party was done around 8:30, the place was packed with a lot of people waiting to be seated.

Veggie Heaven is right next door to probably the biggest Chinese restaurant in the area, so they must prepare food good enough to compete. What they serve is healthy Chinese food. All healthy ingredients. No meat: even their chicken and shrimp are made with tofu and other veggie products. Something different. Prices are reasonable. They start you with a small complementary dish of cabbage pieces,This night I dined on appetizers. I had a large pot of Oolong tea-$1.50; Won-ton soup-$2.50; a large portion of garlic sauteed spinach with rice (enough for 2)-$8.95; very large portion of avocado salad with dressing (enough for 2)-$8.00. Salad was tasty, but could have had more avocado. Spinach was a bit bland and had some tough stringy spinach-like veggie mixed in, The staff is pleasant. Overall, you receive quite a bit for the price.Next time I'll try a larger single meal.

We love Hunan Taste. Nice bar (full) in the front; plenty of parking in Denville center. Two nicely appointed rooms separated by a row of large aquarium tanks filled with tropical fish. Full expansive menu. Everything from pupu platters to dumplings various ways; tasty ribs. Love the traditional Peking Duck and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. Always excellent service. Highly recommend.
