Authentic Chinese cuisine â skilfully prepared and efficiently served â is the order of the day at Coventryâs Noodle Bar. Owing to its great-value unfussy food and drink, this centrally located, humbly appointed restaurant maintains a loyal following of f
I will keep this really simple. No, it is not 3â Michelin dining ( thank god ) but if you are looking for huge portions of amazing tasting food at reasonable places then this is the place to go. End of.

Wonderfully crafted Thai-Indian dishes.
Gorgeous meal, ..as always. Beautiful presentation and flavours. Great choice on menu,.. Thai and Indian. Staff are really friendly. Good sytem for parking now. Park in their carpark and register your number plate on entry, this has stopped other people parking there and going off somewhere else, great idea. We have booked large groups here in the past and they cope exceptionally well. The prices are average, service charge is included on the bill. Highly recommend this place but make sure you book at busier times.

Visited The Ocean recently for our wedding anniversary meal. As always a wonderful welcome from Icky and the staff. As always the food was absolutely top notch and Icky is always willing to modify a dish to suit. My Chicken Sylheti was absolutely superb.

We are situated in Meriden 5 minutes drive from the Birmingham Airport and the NEC and walking distance from Manor Hotel and Strawberry Bank Hotel. Restaurant with takeaway and home delivery service. We can cater for special birthday parties indoor or out
This is a small 2 roomed restaurant above a pub with very pleasant staff. Average poppadoms and chutney etc. OK onion bhajis - a bit heavy and lively chicken chilli tikka starter. Fish curry mains and chicken dish with nan satisfying mains. The wine list limited to 3 reds (based on grape variety) same with whites + a rose. Our white sauvignon blanc served with the patter that this was a wine from Bangladesh - since when was Chile a part of Bangladesh? - all a bit of friendly banter

Popped in here for a takeaway after a few months away as I now live in tamworth, the staff are just brilliant, the guy remembered me and said straight away you don't need the menu your having the pathia aren't you, he was spot on, and what a curry it was, fresh, flavoursome and the perfect amount of spice, by far my favourite Indian, you just need to open one in tamworth

My Dhabba is situated on the corner of Spon Street an historic street in the heart of Coventry. We serve authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine only the freshest ingredients are used for the vast array of dishes available. Our chef has over 20 years of ex
I was part of a group of 9 friends celebrating a birthday. The restaurant was really busy for a Tuesday evening but staff coped well and service was good. The poppadums and dips were delicious. I absolutely loved my chicken tikka Karaai with mushroom rice and the best peshwari naan I have ever had. My husband had chicken tikka keema which he said was lovely too. All our group really enjoyed their meals. My only criticism would be that the tables are very crammed in but generally a nice atmosphere with lovely decor. We had taken a cake and they brought it out complete with sparkling firework which delighted my friend. I like it that you take your own drinks too. We will definitely be going back. Word of warning though, beware of where you park. My husband had inadvertently parked in a taxi bay opposite My Dhabba and got a £35 ticket which wasnât anything to do with the restaurant but put a damper on our otherwise lovely evening.

Turmeric Gold, an award winning restaurant, has been serving great Indian food with a healthy twist for over a decade in the beautiful, historic surrounding of a 700 year old cottage going back to the 13th century. Come and enjoy good food in the charm of
I walked to Spon St for dinner as I was in the area for work and staying in a hotel nearby. Iâd actually planned to visit a more informal restaurant up the road but, to my dismay, it was closed.Luckily I ended up at Turmeric Gold. Iâd never usually have chosen a place this upmarket to eat alone whilst away on business- but they took the most amazing care of me as a lone female diner. They greet you with a tiny glass of delicious mango lassi, offered me a paper in case I wanted to read with my meal and the service was attentive without being stifling. The food was exquisite- lovely to have such a wide range of curries id never tried before- the flavour was divine and the portion was so big I couldnât finish it.Highly highly recommended- itâs a beautiful building and great decor to boot!

Great takeout, food was full of flavour and freshly made. Although spring rolls can be a little on the greasy side. Would definitely recommend going there though.
