The restaurant is reasonably small with tables and a sushi bar. It is operated as a family business. It offers amazing innovative sushi. The sushi itself is of course as can be expected adapted to the US market but the influence of the original Japanese style can be found in the perfect presentation. The sashimi dishes are especially good! For the purists and Edo sushi lovers the Nigiris are amazing. They offer rare and seasonal types of fish.Do get a reservation as it fills up pretty quickly!

Looking for fantastic sushi in the Newport Beach or Irvine areas...this is your place. Very creative sushi selection matched with a spectacular atmosphere and an exceptionally knowledgeable service team. The prices are surprisingly reasonably given the quality of the food and atmosphere. Ask for Ivan if you want great recommendations and over the top service. Cheers.

Everything here was delicious. Kind of pricey for Ramen but this is Irvine. Very clean establishment with attentive waiters. They constantly came by to see if we needed anything and refilled drinks promptly. It's kind of small and there was a wait for us to get inside. I wish I had known to put in our name on the wait list online. My daughter got the Vegan Ramen which actually looked pretty good so I tried it. It was very tasty for vegan however I preferred my Tonkotsu Ramen which was rich and hearty. Requested the black garlic oil which they gave me for free as a first time visitor. I used it sparingly since the ramen already had tons of flavor. Got the Crispy Chicken which was just alright. Not what I expected I guess. Overall pretty happy with this find.

There are very few places where one has such extensive sashimi and sushi choices. Rarely do you see Red Snapper (Tai), Black Snapper (Kuro Dai), Ocean Trout, Kanpachi and Striped Bass in addition to the more normal choices--by the way, the Ocean Trout from Tasmania and the Kanpachi sushi were great. The cut rolls that we had (355 Liar Liar, Philly Roll & Kalifornia Roll) were all beautifully presented, with fresh ingredients. Yellowtail is one of our favorites, and we loved both the Yellowtail with Jalapenos and the Yellowtail Handrolls. I like the way they start you off with the Miso Soup. Our server was very pleasant, the food comes out in a reasonable amount of time and the pricing was very fair.

Several friends and I were in Costa Mesa and we were looking for a restaurant that would please everyone in the group. A friend found GOLDEN DRAGON which had plenty of options for all of us, including me as the lone vegetarian. The restaurant is nondescript from the outside at the end of a small strip mall. The inside is large and modestly decorated with a big fish take to soothe the spirit. We got there early and it started to fill up quickly.I had a number of vegetarian choices and picked the egg for young. It was different that what I have seen before - almost like vegetable birds nest . Large round balls rather than an omelette I have seen in other restaurants. The grave came in a separate bowl. I loved the presentation and it was absolutely delicious. We all commented on how large the portions were. Pleasant setting and good service. It was all A++. I only wish I lived nearby. Golden Dragon would be my number 1 Chinese restaurant.

We enjoyed our first lunch meal at Kitakata so much we returned 3 days later with our whole family! The broth is made from clear spring water so even though it is pork based, it is fresher and lighter tasting. The noodles are light, chewy and springy and the curly ramen soaks up every bit of flavor. The extra egg and the extra noodles only add $1 each and add to the meal. My husband loved his fried chicken so much he skipped the ramen the second visit. The service is very helpful and friendly and both times they told us a different size of chicken than we ordered which was cheaper. Try to come slightly early or later, and be sure to come before they close for a few weekday hours at 3. There are mostly tables for 2 and some for 4, so if you have a big group, be prepared to wait.

The AN Family, of the famed Crustacean Restaurant in Beverly Hills, invites you to experience their latest concept: AnQi Gourmet Bistro & Noodle Bar. AnQi serves a unique twist on California Vietnamese Cuisine, with favorites like Filet Mignon Potsticker
Adjoins a shopping center, Bloomingdales specifically, I was hesitant, but this lace, though catering to the ultra hip, does have areas where one can converse and fine food of a slightly off the usual type. Big menu very varied
